  1. Those that know how I love my car wont be suprised to hear that Pro Engines is my choice for the impending engine build. Greg and Warren have the runs on the board:those considering serious, quality work call 'em!
  2. Powatone in Fyshwick were damn good to me:recommended! And,yes:I wanted more nipple action in this post,too...
  3. Well,it's Sunday eve',and I'm still thinking about seeing the movie with most of SAU ACT on Thursday night. I reckon it was a top movie;OK,so some things weren't perfect, but I thought it worked well for the majority! My highlights were more general:seeing a heap of SAU'ers in one spot-more than I've seen in a long time,thankfully-laughing and getting along, faces I haven't seen for a while, new faces(Frink had a particularly notable one with him,and it wasn't his bro'!),nice cars filing into the carpark outside,as Bluprint has said a full row of Skyline nuts and nutettes, the "oohs' and 'ahhs' of fast cars and drifting, the well spotted appearance of the real Drift King in the movie(well picked, M!) and many more things... Thanks to those who made the effort to come out on a particularly freezing night(mmm....more boost)-good to see y'all!
  4. I'll be there with a black Nismo pitshirt on;those I haven't met yet come and say G'day!
  5. And I thought 'smackies' coming off 'the gear' was a low point,LOL! Righto:Hoyts have the sess' times up:we're there at 7.15pm-I'd suggest get there way earlier for tickets,as Thursday release nights always prove to be busy, regardless of movie genre. See you there! J.
  6. Go the shopping list!! Hahaha! I went past Hoyts today to try to get times:still nothing! They say at midnight tonight they should have times up:I'll check in the morning...
  7. Hmm...calipers y'say...PM sent.
  8. SOLD! Sorry folks,they're gooooone!
  9. Be good to see you all! Hoyts still haven't put any times up;I'll call 'em tomorrow if there's no update in the morn'...
  10. And they soooo nearly fitted the GTS-T 4 door...but not quite. Still on the market, despite a v. nice SAU'er that had a look and trial fit this afternoon!
  11. Sorry mate;I paid more for just the rims,so the price is intended to give me more room in the shed when the buyer takes everything! I don't need the tyres sitting around,as they too wont get used for many a month otherwise! Plus,I'd have to drop more dollars off for "just the rims",taking into account your long haul from the Riverina(see? I'm always thinkin' of you! LOL!)...So,sorry;they're a "job lot"!
  12. Ah,right! I know now what phillb was refering to. True, they are multifit's:nobody has redrilled 'em:they came that way from the factory!
  13. Ermmm...whatever the standard R32 GT-R takes? I actually have zero idea what measurement you're refering to:what do I need to measure to answer you properly?
  14. And so the rest of SAU gets to see 'em now: posted in the For Sale section... I'm suprised at the lack of interest from the ACT'ers. Maybe it's too cold? LOL!!
  15. Some already know, and for those that don't,my R32 GT-R is undergoing a restoration of sorts. More a serious upgrade,I s'pose. As such, the little beastie wont be turning a wheel in anger for a while yet,so I thought I'd off my trackday rims and tyres in the interim. They're Sparco Pythons, purchased from one of our good Canberra members who'll no doubt have all the spec's if I ask(as I've clean forgotten yesterday, let alone specifications like offset...). What I do know is:17" x 9",with the offset to fit the BNR32 with no clearance issues(my car is lower than standard, but sits just above legal road height...). Tyres are Falken RX-04V II's in 245/45/ZR17,which are a sticky trackday compatable rubber;not DOT approved,so you'd run the risk(and the wear issues)if you used them on public roads, especially if it rains! However, once heated up on the track,I dropped over 2 seconds off my Wakefield lap times, and there'd be more if I didn't drive like a nancy boy...So;cheap trackday rims that are a bit scratched and biffed up-nothing that appears structural,or I wouldn't have used them-no centre caps, with tread at 90%,including wheel nuts, for $1000 firm. Buyer organises pickup/transport/freight;PayPal,direct deposit or the traditional folding stuff only. PM me if needs be,and we'll go from there! Jayce.
  16. Pfff...I agree with Amaru:sounds like crap to me...Just my 2c worth.
  17. Thanx Sin'! I know they're cheap, but as they say in all those cheap a*se ads on tele':"They've got to go!" Meh:someone will get the bargain...
  18. P.S. They'll go to the normal 'For Sale' section soon unless an ACT SAU member jumps in first....

  20. Nice! Now we have an "insider" connection,LOL! Go Pete go! It's strangely quiet from the rest of you lot;so how 'bout it?!?
  21. I believe we need around 150 CONFIRMED payers to get any sort of reasonable discount...but I'll look into it further...
  22. Love it or loathe it,the movie series of The Fast and the Furious have propelled import cars into the mainstream limelight. OK,so far from everything in these flicks is accurate, but for a bit of mindless fun for an hour or two,I'm suggesting that Team SAU have a night out at the movies with the new Fast and Furious 3-Tokyo Drift movie(and you can check it out here: http://www.thefastandthefurious3.com/main.html ). It's released on Thursday June 15th,and I'll be heading to Hoyts Woden for a look;I'd love it if you'll all come along! At this point in time, they haven't released times nor tickets, but there's always showings around the 6.30-7.30 area, which I figure is late enough for most to get there after work, but early enough it doesn't make for a late night for those that have to be at work early the next day(or need their beauty sleep...like me,LOL). As soon as a definate time is available,I'll post it and I'll see those that are coming there! Buying your tickets in advance would be advised, and showing up early as opening night is always a s**t fight to get tickets and/or a spot in the line. There are people that hate these movies;fair enough that's your opinion, but I don't want or need that negativity in this thread:start your own beat up somewhere else. However, those that love this type of flick, feel free to come along for some fun! This'll be a good chance to meet & greet some new faces, and catch up with old friends. If there's enough that want to,we may even take a few spots at Barbars afterwards... I'll be suggesting the same thing for the www.valvebounce.com crew and the www.gtrydaz.com squad too,so hopefully it'll be a good roll up! See you all there! Jayce.
