  1. Well...I guess it's about time to call last drinks, turn the machine off, thankyou linesmen and ballboys: R.I.P. trivia night. Never mind that Sin' started what I believed was a regular excuse for banter and laughter between friends. Never mind that the trivia girl was usually a good laugh and occasionally flashed some G. Never mind it was the one night you would just KNOW that someone you'd know was shooting pool or desperately tryng to answer the correct spelling for Vladivostok,Russia. Hell, even Dani' in the mighty FTO would come along when she was sick... Not a single soul tonight made for a depressed me. A real shame, and absoultely NO reflection on a great idea that lead to many fun filled Tuesday nights until now. I loved trivia night almost as much as the people that attended it.
  2. So does anyone know who else is entered, and with what calibre of car?
  3. Just read this thread start to end;talk about heart warming! There's hope yet for the innocent! And I suggest we try the old WWII torture on these scum;you know the one where you insert a pipe somewhere painful, barbed wire up the pipe, remove pipe,REMOVE BARBED WIRE...
  4. Mal calls his friend Bob the horse breeder and says he is sending someone over to look at a horse. Bob asks, "How will I recognize him?" "That's easy" Mal says, "He's a midget with a speech impediment" So, the midget shows up, and Bob the horse breeder asks him if he's looking for a male or a female horse. "A female horth" says the midget. So Bob shows him a prize mare. "Nithe lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth"? asks the midget. Bob picks him up and he gives the horse's eyes the once over. "Nithe eyeth, can I see her earzth"? So Bob picks the little fella up again, and shows him the horse's ears. "Nithe earzth, can I see her mouwf"? Bob is getting pretty ticked off by this point, but he picks the midget up again and shows him the horse's mouth. "Nice mouwf, can I see her twat"? Totally mad by now, Bob grabs midget up under the arms and rams his head as far as he can up the horse's twat, pulls him out and slams him on the ground. The midget gets up, spluttering and coughing. "Perhapth I should wephwase that; Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit"?
  5. Being that this is the wasteland, can I ask:who knows how to steer these damned iPod things... I've got an ipod shuffle, which has 0 songs on it right now,and when I go to autofill it,the little bar on the bottom shows "4oo-something meg' used,"100-something" unused, and proceeds to fill about 30 odd songs to fill the remainder. The question is:if there's no songs, why does it say I've got so much used? And is there some way to "reset" my ipod so there is full memory space available when there's 0 songs on board?
  6. Good to see you're still about,A! The fact your car hasn't sold yet is a sign:KEEP IT! Can't make it this weekend;have a good one! And 2 hours to Wagga? You paying the speeding fines?!?
  7. Spotted at approx. 9p.m. a dark R32 GTR growling along in the night...at the Goulburn side of Lake George. Now,I could be wrong, but I'm sure it was a very "shy" car...?
  8. Noooo! Say it ain't so,Stirlo! Ah,well...once you've got far enough into paying off your bricks'n'mortar, you can get another one, yes? Someone will get a good buy;it'd be nice if the car stayed "local".
  9. An Irish priest is driving down to New York and gets stopped for speeding in Connecticut. The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest's breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car. He says, "Sir, have you been drinking?" "Just water," says the priest. The trooper says, "Then why do I smell wine?" The priest looks at the bottle and says, "Good son of rajab! He's done it again!"
  10. Gotta say that it sounded more like a wailing wastegate than a shagged bumpstop...And yes,the car in question seemed gunmetal grey...and had nice shiny alloys...may well have been you,'Gus! It certainly didn't sound stock, that's for sure!
  11. Yep,it's a dark grey, dinged in many places, and covered in bird crap. Ah well,I guess there has to be one unloved Skyline somewhere:I s'pose this one is it! I've got an idea...give it to me to get looked after!!
  12. Oh,yeah;also spotted an unloved R33 GT-R parked at the Westpac in Fyshwick yesterday. She was in need of some TLC,which suprised me as almost every 'Line I know of,regardless of model or age, seems to be the prized possesion of the owner. Maybe the owner is waiting for their Meguires prize pack to get sent from *insert fave' magazine title here*...
  13. Delayed spotted:a clean, dark coloured R32 GT-R turning from Canberra Avenue onto Ipswich Street on Wednesday night about 7.30ish. The driver discovered the loud pedal as they were level with the Mobil servo'-sounded gooooood! Also spotted last night,a wingless GTS-T R32 in civic, silver with a FMIC and neat,almost-BBS-style rims. Looked super cool,IMHO. Anyone on here? Chitami's,maybe?
  14. Respect noted. I was hinting towards the direction this could head: Anyone else feel like anger may be clouding some peoples judgement? This isn't a shot at Skylvia, more the lack of faith both we have in the law,and the lack of trust the law have with us(the car modifying culture in general). Me,I'd like to hear the three sides to the story, but I don't think that will occur. Talk of "going on the hunt" for retribution is understandable, but not acceptable. I'm assuming we all pay our taxes;so those that feel wrongly done by,get to the Police station you feel has apparently short-changed you and "hunt" for the answers there.
  15. So,I assume we're off to Cronulla for another riot, yes? How about we block the trade route to Ozzy Tyres and Tempe Tyres?!? Certain members need to ease up on the red mist when something like this goes on,regardless of wheather it was provoked or not. I feel for the busted WRX,and I'm sure the owner,E.,isn't feeling too flash either. So;the Police don't want to know or care? They have been informed, yes? And it seems there's been similar sightings,so the the offenders aren't that intelligent, which makes me think they'll get caught eventually...
  16. I agree;most people can nonchalantly say "oh,yeah,I can see myself doing a 1.05 around Wakefield..."without realising just what it takes to do so. I've seen some of Australia's best steerers around this track in a myriad of different car,but I can't see very many non-pro's without well developed and balanced trackday/race cars going near that. It's like the magazine-featured cars that have a huge turbo, some expensive coilovers and a massive "GT Spec" wing, amongst other mod's,having the fulsik owner saying "yeah, mate;she'll run an easy 9 second or high 8 second pass, first time 'round FOR SURE...". Morons:prove it before you talk yourself up! Confidence is one thing, ignorance AND arrogance is most upsetting... So;end of rant. Is the 30th of March,as infered earlier,a definite CONFIRMED date?
  17. Mmmmm...weapon of a 34,that one!
  18. Cool! A pilot in more ways than one!
  19. Niiiiiice! They looked so cool rolling along past The Lodge the other day!
  20. I'll probably head down as a spectator, depending on where I'm at with the Rally of Canberra...
  21. Delayed "spotted"-Scooby driving home in his GT-R and NOT running over the silly shaved lycra clad cyclist on his way home in Jerra' on Wednesday night! Spotted a yellow 32 at the Monaro RC airfield, and a dark blu 32 GT-R in the middle of the day near the new jail site, same bit of Monaro Highway...
  22. Almost correct-22B,only five came to Aus'. Subaru kept one,the other four went unregistered to private buyers at $110,000 each...
  23. I sooooo hope you decided to keep it;from one serious 32 fan and owner:your car is seriously up there with the best I've seen in Aus'!
  24. Welcome back! Nice to have another big hitter prowling the streets again!
  25. Just what he said. Maybe it's time to see an engineer for some bits, and just remove others...except for the rego' plate that everyone knows you should have two of. Not to crucify you publicly, but there isn't too many better ways to get yanked than not having one of said plates missing...
