Concur.

As it gets closer for my car to be registered again, I still can't work out if I still require a secondary brake light. I'd rather not refit the one I have(purely cosmetic reasons!), but I also don't want another reason to be under the watchful eye of the authorities. I've poured over the latest raft of ADR's, but I still can't find a definitive answer... I think I'm off to talk to the motor registry. Anyone got a story to tell re these lights??

Spotted a gorgeous black 34 with 'INVADA' plates in Phillip earlier; pulled up as he was turning right and I was going left and gave the thumbs up. Very neat car!

It turns out that whilst the N1 'glass number was still listed as available(and I therefore ordered it...), Nissan Japan then let it run a few weeks before saying NOPE, it's no longer available. FAIL.

Ah: I remember! Outside Subway at Weston Creek. Anyone here?

And, head like a hole, I spotted a neat R32 GTS, silver, no wing and a neat FMIC. JDM style bronze rims... Now I can't remember exactly where I saw you, if you're on here. I was in a little GTiR...

Spotted a silver R32 GTR at Chisholm shops yesterday....

I really want genuine glass as I've had fitting issues occasionally in the past with aftermarket glass suppliers. Nothing major, mind, but in this case it's imperative that it's 200% correct. It's my pride and joy GTR and not some snot nosed little Pulsar ET Turbo where it doesn't matter as much!

Update: it seems I've had a win. There is some new glass on order, and despite people thinking that parts merely come overnight from Japan(thanks F&F # 1 for that misconception!), it'll be here soon. Looking forward to a cleaner, lighter car! (OK, the lighter call is only just, but it'll offset some other additions slightly)

Seal kits for both from and rear glass are still listed and available through Nissan Aus. In passing, I've heard there was a factory tinted glass option but I've never had it verified. I want clear, which I'd assume would be the easier to get if still available. My local Nissan parts interpreter is on to the part number for the N1 glass and he's fired off some emails to be absolutely sure it would arrive sans wiper hole(as you'd expect it to if it was N1). Basically it's a lot of money to outlay and then find out there was a communication error from Japan and it arrives either not N1, or apparently N1 but with a wiper mounting hole in it!
