  1. ...holy F**K! I'm in lust! It's that light I could build extra space in the form of a rack so I could store it near the GT-R,LOL! (please note:GT-R takes priority over even the undeniable talent of the lustful Ariel...!)
  2. Beaver?!? Someone say BEAVER?!? ...LOL!
  3. No prob's-just wish I could help out again, tho'! I know Sinista is taking a much needed break, but I can't say if WhyTry/Goran is up for it. G;where's your car at?
  4. Hiya Reece! Sorry,I wont be doing any formals this year;they pretty much all coincide with me being away or already doing something.Pity,as your crew last year were cool. Here's hoping some of the ACT SAU'ers can help out, though!
  5. Autech? MMMmmmm...260RS=yummo! When's this changeover gonna happen,Termi'?
  6. All I can say: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...SAU%20WSID&st=0 (and thanks go to Race_Snooze for showing the initiative and common sense required to get drag racing off the streets!)
  7. I'll 2nd Mivec's post-Farugia's is the top place in Canberra(only licenced Porsche/Lambo/BMW repairer, from memory, and they wont just send their cars to anyone...),but they have been known to be picky about what they'll work on.If "stupid offender" is paying for the damage,I'd be off to see Farugia's in a flash. If she's not paying(ie:you are),I'd still save and go and see Tony and his crew if I were you... Was said "stupid offender" insured?Did she give a damn what she'd done?Don't let her off, even if she is a 5'8" blond Norwegian backpacker fresh from a stint in the adult industry...oh,sorry;that's a fantasy of mine getting in the way, again!
  8. The 10.3 is the real time,BUT...keep your eyes and ears open,as I suspect that wont stay their fastest time for long!
  9. Stupid question;when moving interstate to the A.C.T.I was sure you had to do the official Dickson pits, regardless.Isn't that still the case?In which case, you may not be a happy camper...Would you have much to change back to get it roadworthy?Or is a Engineer's Certificate gonna be required?
  10. Sin'-P.I. was awesome,'cept for Casey's little "mishap"! Should be there this week...
  11. Me + E will get there for a short while tonight-I'm still trying to find a replacement backside,as mine is somewhere between Phillip Island and here...LONG day in the saddle today! Just got home...
  12. Whilst I'd consider you're going backwards from Brembo's to DBA's,it's only a slight jump down(not much/if noticable at all performance loss)with a HUGE saving dollars wise.I know of a GTR with 6 spot AP Racing calipers and road legal floating rotors that would be a better dollar alternative to the genuine Brembos(only just-but IMHO a much better setup again)-although it may take some research to get them at the same dollars. If you've spent 75K on a track spec' 350Z,might as well save for the good gear rather than compromise...Just my 2c worth.
  13. Thanks gang! Much appreciated;I'll give it a go and see what happens!
  14. Hi all. Just wanted to see if anyone has a quick link to somewhere that I can download instructions for Alpine's CDA-9835 head unit? I tried the usual amount of w's.alpine.com,but I musta missed something,or they don't supply such a thing,as I couldn't find anything. I had one installed 6 months ago,and I'm too flat out and just a smidge embarrased to head back into the shop and ask for them. Now I have more time on my hands,I'd like to check out more functions than just playing a CD or listening to the radio stations;I'm sure my head unit, and all the associated other gear,is being under-utilised! Any help vastly appreciated!
  15. So,seeing as you know your 34 fronts, and the one you saw looked horrible, now I'm wondering what it actually was...Any other give-aways? Also spotted a neat R33 GTS in white with split style 5 spoke chrome rims in Civic this arv'-pretty lady with a turtleneck jumper driving...anyone here?
  16. As the guys have already suggested;no,it hasn't got a horrible looking front spoiler, but it does have it's standard V Spec' bodykit in pristine condition. That car is flat out HORN,and there would only be visually-challenged or slightly retarded people in the world that think a standard R34 GT-R looks anything but sex-on-wheels...Maybe you saw someone else?(Exactly how many OTHER Bayside Blue GT-R's could it possibly be?Was it possibly be an R34 GT-T?).Oh,spotted a silver R33 GTS-T threading thriugh the traffic on Limestone Ave on Tuesday morn';whoever it was wouldn't have spotted me-I was on my bike riding to work, clad in Lycre(TM,Patent Pending...LOL)and carbon fibre stuff...
  17. Slightly off topic: I rate DJ Hatton's avatar-Silent Bob rocks! For those that don't know, check out the movies Clerks,Mallrats,Chasing Amy,Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back...
  18. Which is one of the reasons I'm not doing any formals this year;people who don't know your car just want to show up in whatever seems to be the happening set of wheels that week, having made 15+ changes of car beforehand...Last year I had truly appreciative SAU'ers and Skyline nuts that knew what they wanted from day 1! It seems that's not really the case anymore.Sad,but true.
  19. All will be revealed in good time! It's still being run in,so all should remain quiet for a while yet...but it'll be worth the wait!
  20. Yes,the owner spotted you too,Mark!He just doesn't post much...actually,at all,LOL!
  21. Oh,also spotted today:A GT3,GT2,360 Modena(red,natch...),the all new 430 in black,about a dozen Lotus Exiges,3 M3's(one drop top,two the way they SHOULD be),a Maybach(reduced from a Mil' to $899,000!!)and a Murchilago[sp?]...all at Rick Damelian's in Parra' Road,Sydney. Believe me,you'd need de millions(pun intended)to do that showroom justice...Drool worthy,even for a Nissan nut!
  22. Yep;I can definately state that it IS in full street driven trim and running!
  23. Spotted:one VERY serious R32 GT-R,lurking somewhere in Canberra...For sure, one SAU'er knows exactly who owns this, and a few others may have half an idea, but I've blanked out the numberplateto keep some sort of privacy about this certifiable weapon. It's still being "run in",so tread lightly... And,yes,it'll stop as well as it'll go,too! Just thought you'd all like a preview!
