  1. And you can get a "spellcheck" at most good computer keyboards...sheesh;what is it with people? Oh,and I agree with Amaru:second hand bits wont ensure perfect alignment;better get the rubber glove and the Vaseline out...
  2. Done! Got your copy already!
  3. Thanks for the explanation,Adam! I guess everyone has a spin on how the judgung should've gone, but I'm happy with the way it was done. My bias wouldn't have translated to a fair outcome,I know that! There's an old saying:"You can keep some of the people happy all of the time, all of the people happy some of the time, but you can't keep all of the people happy all of the time...":I guess that will always be true of ANY judged event! Thanks again for all the effort for a well run show!
  4. I remember my history lessons...
  5. Ah,yes:Bathurst cars...
  6. Nope;I'm a mug:the only shot I had off your car was blinded by the sun. Teach me not to check the viewer each time I take a pic'...Sorry!
  7. Ah,yes...let me check all my memory cards...there's a shot in there somewhere! Hold tight;I'll see what I can do!
  8. Hey danny;which one is your ride? I've got a heap of shots...hopefully one is yours!
  9. Ah,yes:forgot to mention your big win! At least ACT SAU took home some sort of win,LOL!
  10. Also wanted to say it was nice to catch up with the few SAU'ers I know outside of canberra(Paul/DIRTgarage and Duncan/errr... DUNCAN,Malcolm with the R33 GTS-T Nismo/ username?). I also met quite a few new faces that were friendly and appreciative of me and my car. As I'm a small member of SAU(sexual inuendo not intended;much ribbing expected...LOL),it's nice to get in amongst the bigger scene and soak up everything that is happening outside of the small sphere that is Canberra! Not tha the ACT is bad, mind you...just f***ing cold! Ah,think of the inlet temp's! OH,edit:Adams' 4 door? I saw you, mate. SWEET ride(love the 4 door 32's!)
  11. And while I'm feelin' in a keyboard mood,I'd like to thank Frink and R31DET for helping me fly the ACT flag(OK,so I'm a NSW address, but you know where I'm coming from...)-there really shoulda been more of us! Next year,however... hint, hint! Also prop's to oscarR32for having the commitment to do the drive in a car that only just got put back together. Luke Mick & myself had a good drive;I really thought we'd be running the gauntlet of Police attention all the way there and back, but we didn't see a single Highway Patrol, and only one super sneaky speed camera at the new 90km/h zone Goulburn-side of Lake George(and he didn't get us law-abiding citizens). We all stayed alert with use of walkie talkies;much hacking on,tech' discussion, notable quotes and Tenacious D-playing was had on the road up & back...until Mick's batteries died at Lake George, leaving Luke to pay out at will with no fear of reprisal(Luke:remember that Mick could still LISTEN to your banter for a while there...revenge may be swift and silent,LOL). Ah,road trips... And a big thanks to my very ill wife that put up with all our Skyline talk for 36 hours...! She was suffering from much sickness, big time,by the time we got home, and all to come along for the ride! Not bad commitment, coming from a Subie fan! Ah,well;at least we all got a Scoobaroo fix when the GENUINE 22B rolled into the show'n'shine grounds...damn,whata car!
  12. Oh,YES:this is my idea of how a GTR should be...
  13. After the weekend's frivolities, here's what I posted up in the NSW section... 0
  14. From one Canberran's point of view,I reckon it was a fairly smoothly run event, with HEAPS of drool-worthy artillery! There are sooooo many cars that come to mind, but those of you that were there already have your fave's burnt into your memories and memory cards;those that weren't there-you should've been! One of our "adopted" ACT SAU'ers drove 7 1/2 hours each way from Wagga Wagga (OscarR32-marone R32 GTS-T) just to be part of the show! And we met a rally-spec'd Niss' owner and SAU member from Canberra we never even knew about! All in all,I've got more inspiration to drag our crew back(OK;they'll come willingly)to do it all again next year! Oh,and my favorites? Stacey & Paul's two.06l R32 GTR....now that's how a 32 should be! Obviously Terry's ex-Gentleman Jim's R31 was stunning, the two classic 'Lines in silver, the copious amount of Volk/Rays fitted to most cars, the S14 with the RB26DETT was brilliantly done(you go,girl!)...and the list goes on! Massive thanks to the organisers for putting the event on,and thanks to the local constabulary(!!!)for giving everyone the heads up re:travelling home-they could've been sneaky and lay in wait for an easy meal, but chose to reveal their hand. Anyone get caught speeding on the way home that DIDN'T earn it? Honestly?!? And thanks also to the Mingarra(sp?) Club for having us;I hope we're there again next year!
  15. And if anyone thinks of it;can someone track down one of those little portable "dustbuster" thingos? I know I'm being a bit precious,but...
  16. With some funny "artistic licence" thrown in(if you know where to look)! Whilst it's a shame all of the footage taken on the day can't be edited, the bits that Frink,Bluprint and R31DET have edited came out TOPS! Those of you that are ordering a copy, make sure you watch the credits all the way to the "end"(sAfrican American...SNORT!)...
  17. And at 5.58 am,I drag my tired arse out to the shed to put my GTR back together for the drive North...yawn! I'll buzz ya as we're passing thru'-I reckon it'll be 3ish,at the mo'-but ya never know what may happen along the way! And we're staying at the "El Lago Waters,Tuggerah Lakes" @ The Entrance....
  18. I was gonna post "SOFT!",but then I saw where you're located...fair call!!
  19. Sorry Kris! Just got in the door(left @ 10 this morn'-ALL over NSW today...)-gathering at my place in Jerra(I can't remember which side of town you are...)to view dyno day footage. I'll PM you my number...
  20. OK-say 8.30 show-up for 9pm viewing? I'm on the road in 10 minutes;any further ideas that require my input,call my mobi'!
  21. Nah-big screen telly will have to do,as the only large, white wall I've got has a heeeeooooge fishtank in the way(which is up for sale,by the way...)-it's empty, but it's take 8-10 guys to move it...so,TV it is! Timing?
  22. You can all come over to my place...BUT:Erica has tonsilitis,so NO KISSING her,OK? And everyone will have to park neat & orderly without going anywhere near the driveway of our repulsive neighbours directly opposite our driveway..they're likely to take rego' numbers and have a whinge...What time, tho'? I gotta drive to Wagga to pick up my intruments,so wont be back until 7 tonight...
