  1. Dammit!Saw a brief, distanced glimpse of Amaru's GTR and I completely missed see Termi's Stagea... Did,however, spot a grey R33 GTS-T with a BIG f.m.i.c. and cool rims...with a GTR badge in the grille.I know the V8 Supercar supporters can tend to roll around saying their car is "just like Skaifey's/Lowndesy's/the Enforcers" and we all know better, but I wouldn't have an STi badge on the grille of my Liberty out of respect for those who actually have the real deal(and the embarasment of 0-100 km/h times in the "hours" timeframe wearing a pink badge).Although I have heard a viscious rumour of an unknowing lad who paid BIG money for a GTS-T with "that" badge thinking it was the fabled Godzilla...while the dodgy seller ran all the way to the bank with WAY too much cash...Maybe last night's "spotted" was him?!Dude,if you're on the forums, tell me it ain't so!!
  2. I'm assuming you're the same Sinista that was parked at Wakefield Park last Sunday, yes?Nice ride! Are you a frequenter of Jerra',or do you live IN Jerra'?There's a growing number of 'Lines garaged in the suburb-it'd be nice to have one more!Skylinegal is at the pub quite a bit,but she may be there drowning her sorrows as she just blew her turbo up.... Back to the photoshoot thang:daylight savings as of tomorrow-more light=more time to press the shutter button.I'm still working on locations and timing, but I'm still "on it" to get photoshoot part II happening!
  3. "Nothing special"?!Wash your mouth out!I have many friends that are willing to sacriface vital body parts just to sit in a GTR....And,if I'm not mistaken, aren't your "white wheels" Volks?
  4. I've heard good and bad about City Exhaust-mostly good,though.F'rinstance,two.06L(Stacey and Paul)have a very serious car that they wouldn't let just anyone touch-if C.E. is good enough for them, they should be good enough for all of us!Having said that, Jay95R33's tale made me feel more cautious! As I work in Fyshwick,I had Powertone organise my ride to get quietened:I just supplied the cat'(sourced from AVO in Melb'),told 'em what I expected, and the finished job came out AWESOME.Greta flow, very little noise(I'm trying to keep the funbusters away...),and great looks!I'd recommend them!
  5. Much as I'd like to go,that's the last weekend I've got to finish off my car before AutoSalon Final Battle in Sydney...Have fun, those of you that go-I hear it's a great turnout!
  6. Hey Terminal!Between you and Jay',make sure you're both able to cruise when the next big drive is on:I'm dead keen to have a look at your rides!
  7. Well,it's sounding better than the formals I used to do in my  Commodore...(yes,I've owned one or two:at least the last one had a forced Nissan heartbeat!).So,as long as someone gives me enough notice,I'll do a formal or two...or three or four, depending on timing.I know I've got AutoSalon Final Battle the first weekend of December ,but other than then,I believe I've not got much on...I'm not really in it for the dollars,so I'm happy to do it for the fun of it for the mo'.So,whoever PM me(Kwyjibo?) if there's something coming up,and we'll see what we can organise!I like the idea of a 32,33 and a 34 all rolling in at once :drooling:
  8. What's involved with a formal drive?Do you just drop off your passenger then quietly go home?Or do you wait around some dark corner with all the other drivers for 4 or 5 hours, reading a mag' only to pick up your drunk passenger that you have to flog senseless after they vomit in your prized ride?Ah...sorry 'bout that:flashback to earlier days... Still,I'm sorta curious to help out fellow 'Liners, but I don't need the Police attention or drunken idiots when I may arrive...how's it all work these days?
  9. Ah,yep:subscription!Aurora:do yourself a favour-invest!And you need to whup your postie,Amaru! Then you can all check out the cool ride that is a Stagea!Lucky Terminal!Still,I'm not doing too badly with my baby...
  10. P.S. Check out the latest High Performance Imports mag' with the two yellow R34's on the cover:there's a Stagea with an R34 GTR front on it.Damn!Pass the Kleenex!
  11. Whilst I can't remember exactly which was which,I used Redline in my VL Turbo's gearbox and diff',and it made a BIG difference for the better!I got mine through Rare Spares/Auto 1 in Phillip:I just got them to order me whatever I needed to suit the VL.Rest assured that, although it's got "good stuff" in it now, when my "little engine upgrade" is done on the GTR,it'll have Redline's product in it(if there's something made by them to suit said GTR...I'd be suprised if there wasn't...).I'm running 8100 Motul X-cess at present, for my current state of tune(boost=heat, remember?!),but I'll swith to one of the 300V Motuls' once the rebuild occurs,as I'll have more revs, more boost, more heat and....ooooh yeah...MORE power!!
  12. I'm hearin' ya 'bout the Sunshine State!I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it... South-Central,you say?Kinda Ice-T,dontcha think?!Word up,G.
  13. Oh,schweeeet!Gotta love a Stagea!Well done,Terminal!I'll bet you're stoked!I was only just looking at an article in an old Zoom on the Autech 260RS version...dayam!What a weapon!Plans for yours?Or are you going to bask in the glory of no-defect,Q-car stealth?Either way, enjoy!!
  14. Whilst my obvious bias is a 'Line,I love all thigs fast. So,having said that:think Homer J when I say "MMMmmmm....Chaser!" So,off to pick off some HSV's,are we?! I actually spotted a Chaser at Wakefield Park yesterday-first one I've ever seen in the flesh/metal/rubber.Had what looked like a drift-induced crunch on the left rear 'bar-wasn't yours,silver_r33?Is yours powered by a 1 or 2JZ? Either way, schweeet ride!Congrats!
  15. I'm down with the...errr...South-by-South-East...ummm.What would anyone classify Jerra' as?!Skylinegal!SxyGTST!Help me out on this one!I guess I'm a Southsider...even if Queensland is still in my blood!
  16. I'm thinking I'll be heading up to Hole-burn(Goulburn,and believe me when I say I speak with authority on it's nickname!)for J Racing's trackday,BUT if the weather turns sour in that direction-I have a "long range weather forcaster" there-I'll be seeing you all for the cruise!
  17. Spotted an R32 4 door(!,! and !!),dark blue with chromed "split-style" 5 spoke 17's(more like 18's,I think-didn't get THAT close)parking in Civic in front of Tu Tu Tango or whatever it's called just before midnight-sweet looker!White R33 with nice rims and a subtle bodykit further up in the carpark,too...
  18. Hiya JD! I get all happy when we see another Skyline join the crew!Welcome! May all your traffic lights be green and all your Skylining be detonation and defect free!
  19. Thanks for the compliment!Right back at ya with the Stagea! My better half actually spotted you first that day at Jarra'-she was really excited, going "Hey!That's a Stagea, isn't it?!"I thought that was well spotted for the Subaru nut she is!Ah,they learn so fast...
  20. Ha ha!Actually,it was a flying trip for me:just had to drop a few articles into Ed'.There was a good collection of 'Lines including yours this morning-just wasn't looking for your sump!!
  21. Nah,that was me!I dare you to ask Amaru where his car was at that time...
  22. Spotted an R32 GTR,grey with white Volk TE-37's at Integra this morn',and a white R33 GTS-T with a "Powered by HKS" went around me in the mighty "rally-bred" auto Liberty...someone here I believe?
  23. Spotted quite a few of our favorite cars over the weekend:Gunmetal grey R32 GTR(maybe Nugget?)in Braddon, along with a white R33 GTS on Friday night,a neat white GTS-T R33 on Saturday arv' in Fyshwick,SkylineGal waving merrily to us today in that sweet lime R33 on the Monaro this afternoon,a two tone grey R33 GTS with Volk look-alike rims and a white sticker on the back window in Civic,an older couple in Queanbeyan in a marone R33 with the rego' plates ILB-10U("I'll blow you"...LMAO!considering the pensioners driving it!)and we ran into SXYGTST for the majority of a quiet cruise through Canberra central-what a sweet sounding beastie! And if size does matter(guys-if she says it doesn't,she's probably just being sympathetic!),then you should check out the size of the fridge on the front of said beast!A cool weekend when all the V8's were hiding...Hey,fellas!Remember Bathurst when it wasn't a two horse race?!
  24. Hiya Gus!Don't want to deflate your spherical lighter-than-air device(burst your bubble...),but check post # 1274/page 51 of this thread...I'd think he'll be the object of your "spotted"...
  25. I'd say definately go to Audiotech in Tuggeranong-ask for Tony(da Boss) or John-only that I know these two best from when they did my GTR-awesome job, service and great price! The rest of their crew are very efficient and friendly, too;only I'm crap with names...
