i have this also. i would've sworn black and blue it was hicas locking itself or something like that... i'll have a listen for the seat belts next time i have someone else near by to turn off the ignition. i'll jump into the back seat and listen... very interesting.

often see a gun metal R32 GT-R on the left hand side of Brighton road heading south in a driveway about 500 Meters after Jetty Road i check for it EVERY TIME i drive past in my black 32 GTS-T sometimes there's a GAY subie sometimes there's a BEAUTIFUL GT-R! anyoe else check for this exact same car?

is Sniper still yours? i went in it about a year ago... unless there's 2 maroon R32 GT-R's going around adelaide with the number plate sniper ptting out 320 unless you've sold it in the last couple years, i am a friend of a friend PS the pictures look INSANE!

i would like the compartment that is in the column below the cd player and climate control. don't know the well know name for it but it's the right size for a standard wallet? also, the guide for the drivers seatbelt that holds it off of your shoulder and chair? name your prices. thanks. i Live in adelaide SA...

it looks too out of place for it to be factory and to do with number plate lights. i will set my alarm off in it's quiet mode and have a listen. that is an idea cheers for the reply

Ok, i've done this before and it worked perfectly! i've found a few things on my car that i can't work out what they are or do! here is one of them! Behind my front number plate is a little black box with a wire to it. i can't follow the wire as it goes into the engine bay and into some foam and i can't find where it goes. Could it be to do with my alarm? it appears to have a hole that faces the ground... There. NOW TELL ME WHAT IT IS!

ok, there are a few small bits and pieces i'm after. if anyone in SA has them please let me know. i'm after the drivers seatbelt guide arm thing that holds the seatbelt away from the chair. I'm after 1 button assembly that registers if a door is open or closed (passenger side but i don't think the drivers side differs at all so either should be fine) a new ash tray (mine has cracks and is a bit stuffed) In my car, below the climate controle is my cd player and below my cd player is a compartment that i can't think of a logical name for. mine has a massive hole drilled in the back that the wires for my turbo timer went in. i've relocated the turbo timer to the centre console so it's hidden but i'm in need of a compartment without a hole. if anyone could help me out with any/all of these that would be great. name your price and if your in SA i will arrange to pick it/them up. if you're not in SA i'll consider it for the right price... thanks for the reply, but the central locking motors work fine when i turn the key. if i turn the key in the drivers door the lock still works on the passengers door. and same from locking and unlocking the drivers door inside the car i can see the passengers door lock and unlock. any other suggestions?

First of all, i hope this isn't the wrong place for this discussion, i'm quite new to all this I bought an R32 GTS-T about 6 months ago and after a month or so, the central locking stopped working with the alarm. i dis arm the alarm and the central locking must be unlocked by the key. Both work fine seperately still as turning the key in my door unlocks the passenger door and the immobiliser/alarm still blinks when i push the button. i am certain it did at one stage have remote central locking, i didn't dream that I have looked for a fuse or anything anywhere but have no idea what i'm looking for and where i need to look? if you need specifics like alarm brand and stuff i can go check it out but i'm hoping it's a fairly general topic that doesn't vary too much. i had considered your first thought before, but my lights don't turn on and off so i figured it wasn't. i think the guy below you is right. measures light intensity for the climate control.

SAME HERE! no idea what it is though? the diagnostic never works for me. i'm assuming it's the steering angle sensor because i can't enter the diagnostic. i'd assume the steering angle sensor is what puts it in diagnostic mode with the left right turns and the brake pumping. when you exceed 80 k's does your steering wheel turn one way slightly and then correct itself when you go back below 80? mine does. until the light comes on. then it stops...

i have been wondering for a while, trying to gather info on the little round light/receiver thing at the end of the windscreen demister (passenger side) on all R32's (that i am aware of). if you don't know what i'm talking about, go and look for yourself. it's a little brown circle on the dash, passenger side up near the window. i have been wondering what it is for a long time. i don't have the answer! i have a few theories... the cars came factory with remote central locking as far as i'm aware. it could be the receiver for the older remote central locking? It could be some sort of vehicle ID type thing for some unknown reason. (haven't thought this one through heaps) or, my final and most realistic theory is that it clocks how many times you drive through a tolled road and it could be an automated way of paying for road tolls. I am sorry to you all if i am way off with any of these theories but i need this answered. If you actually know, PLEASE TELL ME!
