Sorry Dude but the only reason why I asked is, a friend of mine bought 99B for his 32GTR and The 08-09 RAYS catalogue states that the following items are inlcuded. Valvestems, Center cap, and Long adapter + 17 HEX Nut set.
Hey bud,
This has been done many times before on 32/33 and S15's, There are some minor mods that will need to be done but nothing major.
Have you already bought a car yet?
I think the only time you should use K&N cleaner on a APEXI filter is only if it is greasy for what ever reason, Other then that blow it out with a air compressed air.
K&N are good filters but are oil based which are not AFM friendly. I picked my stainless panel filter up for $80 and will out last the life of the car.
Hey jaise7en,
If you are looking for a pod setup APEXI make a excellent bolt on, or if you are looking for a direct replacement get a stainless high flow panel which will last a very long time and will not crumble or collapse like most foam filters
I wouldn't worry about how many km's the dash cluster says because 95% are wound back.
Look for wear on steering wheel, gear boot, handbrake interior etc list goes on
The 1jz has a Yamaha head which flows extremely well and is commonly used for 1.5j conversions. Main advantage with using the RB is there is plenty of parts available.
The auto does go good in tiptronic mode and will feel like a different car to drive. The only downfall with auto is that you are limited when it comes to aftermarket ECU replacements
R33 GTR Series III is also available as a V-Spec. Front lower lip is different, interior stitching, head lights, rear diff etc. VIN number will tell you all if you can confirm it.
R33 GTS-T Series II and R34 GT-T manual are both excellent cars, 34 is newer and the motor is slightly different to the R33. It comes down to personal choice of shape and budget.
Found some specs on the net stating that R32GTR weighs 1480kg, R32GTR V-SPEC 1500kg and the R33GTR 1530kg. Realisticly the 33GTR is only 50kg heavier but has a better drive train, newer motor and produces more power.
