  2. Hey guys can anyone tell me whether I'll need a retune if I put my rear muffler back on? Car currently has a straight through 3" system and the muffler is a big oval rear one. I just need to be able to start it in the morning without waking the whole town up. For next week anyway.
  3. Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've got a related question. Currently running a straight through exhaust on my gtr, will the car need a retune if I put my big rear muffler back on? It's quite a large muffler with a 3 inch inlet and I think a 5 inch outlet. Looking to quieten it down a little for a week or so while I daily it. Cheers.
  4. good. hopefully people will realise if they cant afford to run/maintain/insure a sports car they wont waste theyre money buying one in the first place. and really, petrol isnt that expensive. US petrol prices are only around 20c cheaper and they produce a lot more oil than us. and most of europe's prices are around 50% higher than ours

  7. i realise that but my point is if youre sent for a test, just put the stock cat back and pass it. they cant give you a $10,000 fine on the side of the road. also afaik that big fine is only for workshops no?
  8. if they send you for a test, just swap out the decat before you go. if youre still running the compliance cat then removing it for either a high flow or a decat will make a difference.
  9. the only way youre gonna get caught without a cat is if youre foolish enough to go through an emissions test without one.

  11. well not my personal experience as i have been told by every workshop ive had my car in that the only safe way is to pull the drive shaft.
  12. 33 gtrs have hicas and there are plenty of kits for them too
  13. a 10J +20 is still going to sit in the guards of a 33 gtr even with no camber
  14. how far are you looking to go? like this for that look youll need at least 30mm spacers on the rears and maybe more like 40 on the front. then get some 195 tyres and some adjustable camber arms front and rear. and lower it like 3 inches. and roll your guards

  16. really? on theyre site it says theyre $2500 a set. how much was the shipping? edit: even if you went the powder coat and arp stud route youd only be adding around $850
  17. just make sure youre careful buying shoes on ebay. at least 50% are fakes (if that matters to you)
