    i was cruising next to an f430 one day. it was blacked out, had a loud exhaust and just generally looked tough. as the next set of lights went amber, he dropped it back two cogs and floored it through the red. needless to say, i had to pull over to change my pants.

    because ferraris are exciting and when spending that much on a car, youre not going to car that something else might be technically better. F40 is the greatest car ever made imo, ive still got the model i got when i was 7.

    sounds like you bought jap coilovers that have way too stiff spring rates for our roads. there probably wasnt anything wrong with them other than that they were unsuitable for what you want them for

    replace your o2 sensors, get a nistune and it will improve

    $50 of 98 isnt that much these days, 200km from that isnt that bad. i managed to get under 300km out of a full tank once. get a new ecu for it (nistune, pfc etc...) and youll be able to tune it for much better economy

    Either, the -9s will make slighty more top end but theyre a couple hundred bucks more than the -7s

    a pod doesnt need to be enclosed to be legal in SA it only needs to be secured to the body

    leave the stock cams but get adjustable cam gears and replace the stock turbos with N1's (-7s) or -9s, the standard ones wont last at (and probably wont even make) that power. also there wont be much if any difference between RWKW and AWKW, certainly not that much at that level

    They're pretty close to the factory cam specs so they would definitely be good for on the street. I have bigger ones in my gtr (tomei type b's which are 260/9.15)

    I don't mind spending money on quality parts especially when they have such a solid reputation as the nismo clutch does. Is that 2k with the lightened flywheel? even so that's good value for a twin plate let alone anything nismo

    A lot of people highly rate the nismo twin plate. That's what I'm gonna get once my clutch needs replacing

    look cheap. qest ones also have led indicators/reverse lights. ive got a set (of the qest ones i posted in that other thread) on the way so will post up some pics/vids once ive got em installed
