Hey guys, im looking at maybe importing a Cedric in the near future maybe through J-spec and im wondering if anyone has any specific things i should be wary of when looking for the right car. i know the guys at j-spec have heaps of possible cars to choose from so i want to find the right one. also im looking for some advice on the whole importing process as ive never imported a car before. been doing some reading, am i being realistic if i budget say $3000 on top of a landed and complied price or and i nowhere near the right figure? also i'll probably be looking for a Cedric that already has a couple mods like wheels and suspension, maybe bodykit. would i be better off importing one like this or getting a stock one and doing the mods here? thanks -pete.
  3. Hey guys got a pair of these sweet lookin smoked indicators from my stagea. as its been written off i dont need them anymore Come with orange bulbs so are still legal. $50 posted anywhere in Oz.

  5. id be very interested to get some impressions from you about these coilovers as im thinking of buying a set for my gtr. they look like to good value for money to not at least try them out

  8. yeah seems so, mines got 25k more kms than yours and its going strong (might need new turbos soon though) it looked like a series 3 because of the xenons and black front lip but i guess they were options on the earlier ones too
  9. high mileage? sound like it was simply used as a daily driver, at least you know theyre genuine. btw well done getting a series 3
  10. i thought the price cycles were normal and had been for years. wednesday in adelaide is generally going to be at least 10c/L cheaper than thursday

  12. mine was stripped. problem solved though, i drilled it out. still very annoying.
  13. get one of the lips if you can find one. they look tight and im not sure how rare they are but ive never seen one round here with one
  14. sorry to bump an old thread but i just tried removing the blade from mine and one of the torx screws was done up so tight i stripped the f$!@$r!!! anyone have some advice on the best way to get it out? dont car if the thing gets destroyed, just need it out so i can replace the blade. thanks.
  15. Here in SA the pod(s) just need to be secured to the chassis. I just took my new gtr through an I'd check on Friday. It's got twin apexi pods but they are bolted down so they passed no worries.

  17. hey guys, recently just got myself a series 3 r33 gtr vspec to replace my stagea and now im looking to do a few upgrades starting with the exhaust. the car already has a 3" Tanabe cat-back system so right now i am looking at replacing the front pipe. access auto have these apexi front pipes for $400 which seems extremely good value considering on the apexi site is says they retail for US$560. they are polished stainless steel and are 2x70mm to 80mm outlet. my question is will this fit up to the standard dump pipes? im sort of torn between upgrading them as well or leaving them for possible future turbo upgrades. also does anyone here currently use this front pipe or had experience with apexi exhaust stuff before? thanks, -pete.
