I was looking at buying a set of tomei rods for my 26 build and came across a couple of threads and sites that suggest that Tomei are making some of their parts from China. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to blow $1200 on rods when they're of poor Chinese quality. Long story short, bought these and a couple of other parts while I tryed to fix a problem I had. Problem is bigger than I thought so engine is coming out and going to have ported head, bigger cams, etc... so these are not needed. They have been turned over no more than 10 times lol. It runs along the line that goes to the carbon canister. The clip on mine has broken and its now hanging so I might need to get a new one. Can someone please tell be what it's called and what it does? Cheers

Sort of on topic, has anyone completely removed their fuel speed controller and somehow wired the fuel pump to run without it in place without any issues?

I have a pair of intake and exhaust HKS adjustable cam gears to suit RB motors. Gears are used and have slight paint fade on where I rubbed my fingers across them. Asking 250$. Located in Perth but will post anywhere Aus wide for $10. Cheers

Ok I think I'll leave the sound deadening and the seats in then. For a 9kg loss I don't think it'll be worth having all that road noise. Hicas has been removed a while ago. Same as rear wiper, air con including core behind dash (never use air con so removed the lot), rear speakers gone, I 'm planning on removing the abs soon too. Anything else people recommend to remove on a street and track driven skyline?

I'm currently in the process of removing weight from my weekend and track driven 32 GTR. I've already taken out the air con, rear wiper and some little luxury things that I didn't really need. Now I'm thinking how far I should go with it. Removing the rear seats and sound deadening has crossed my mind but I don't really want to ruin the car I really enjoy driving on the road. My question is, how far have you taken the weight loss in your street and track driven skyline and did it ruin the comfort when driving on the street.

Was installed brand new when I put my T04Z turbo kit on. 1 coil pack has lost it's spring as seen in pic. Not sure how this happened but a new replacememt spring or coil pack shouldn't be too hard to find. It will need replacing as it might cause damage to the coilpack. Still worked fine without the spring though. Selling due to LS2 coil upgrade. Because of the missing spring I'm only asking $250 for the lot. Located in Perth and can post.

Hey mate, Yeah I did. Apparently they don't make them for the R32 GTR anymore so I was unable to get a set

Yeah it slots in nicely and I've checked to make sure it's spinning when it's being turned over. You can also hear the injectors ticking when its cranking which would suggest that it is working. I bought it second hand off someone who had a spare for his GTR. I'm tempted to get someone to have a look at it as it's starting to do my head in as to what could be causing it not to start. Maybe there's a bigger problem but it's confusing because it was working beforethe tooth snapped off from the cam when I ran it with no cover.
