HKS Hi Power Silent here. It is very quiet on idle and whilst cruising but once boost builds it does sound awesome. I have stock dump and front pipes on mine and a pathetic 3inch high flow cat which is getting replaced soon so i think there will be plenty to gain sound wise when these get replaced. I do love the look of the exhaust and it sits very nicely under the car, no real low points to worry about. Does anyone know how HKS get the Hi Power silent to be so quiet? Is the pipe 95mm all the way down or does it get smaller towards the rear? Would like to know how they compare performance wise to other Japanes cat back exhausts.

After doing a bit of research after a bad crunch happened to me last night with a super quick shift from 3rd to 4th, it is infact a normal problem with the R32 and i beleive the R33 GTR gearbox. The only solution is to shift a fraction of a second slower before changing to fourth so that the synchro rings do there job of bringing the gear up to speed of the shaft. Also use Redline Lightweigh Shockproof oil. Thanks

If the AFM is the problem (which is what i suspect to be the problem with my car too) does the car run super lean when it loses it's throttle while still revving and also when it missfires? I've got a forged built bottom end and don't want to do any damage to it. Thanks

Does your light come on after 10 or so minutes of driving? Mine does in my 32R and then it gets heavy steering. Its getting the Hicas removed at Xspeed, I should get the car back tommorow. I will find out exactly what they removed and if it fixed the heavy steering issue.

My R32 GTR whilst driving randomly loses all power and the revs start dropping down even when the accelerator is pushed down. It has stalled on me a couple of times when I have put my clutch in and sometimes the idle gets pretty low and struggles to maintain a constant rev. It usually happens after a bit of driving (over 10 minutes) and will sometimes cut in and out. I pulled over once when it lost power for a good 30-60seconds and turned the car off and then on again and the car went back to normal. The car is going for a re tune with PFC D Jetro in a couple of weeks time. It currently has a nistune with rebuilt forged bottom end and N1 turbos. Any ideas on what the problem could be and if it is bad for my engine for it to be doing this? (don't want to blow or damage an expensive motor). Thanks

My car was in the garage but it is an open garage and the wind was blowing in just the right direction for the hail to hit the front of it. Gave the front a quick dry and found six car park sized dents on the front of the bonnet and lucky everything else was fine. Anyone know where i can get these dents removed (no paint damage) or am I looking at a new bonnet? Would prefer to keep the one on it now because it is original and is in mint condition besides the small dents on it now from the storm. Grrrr I hate when **** happens. I feel sorry to anyone who has damage to their cars and/or property.

I have done some research but can't find much on what i'm after. I am looking to upgrade the suspension in my 1989 Nissan R32 Skyline GTR for weekend use and track work. I currently have a set of Tein HAs (9kg front and 8kg rear spring rates i'm pretty sure) and am looking at buying a set of cusco swaybars unless someone says otherwise.... Basically i'm looking at doing all of the suspension as required all in one shot. My question is what do i need to buy (reccomended brands would be good) for my GTR to handle very well on the track and remain fairly comfortable on the street when i take it out. I would like to knock the suspension side of things all in one shot and not have to look back on it but i'm unsure on what i need. Do i need to replace the suspension bushes too due to age or for better handling? Thanks

Hey Guys, Can someone recommend me the optimum semi slick tyre size to use on my R32 GTR rims (16"x8") for track duties. I'm looking at buying a set of Toyo R888 245/45/16 but not sure if width and sidewall height is best suited for the track. Thanks

Hey Guys, After doing a bit of research, I know that the R32 GTR wheels dont fit over the R33/34 Brembo Brakes (only just apparently ) but was wondering if there is a simple way to get them to fit. I have a R32 GTR and plan on upgrading the brakes to the Brembos in the near future but want to retain the R32 GTR wheels for various reasons. I don't mind putting on small spacers if it'll make it clear (The rims sit too far in anyway). Let me know what you would recommend. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey Guys, Can someone help me as I am trying to find the inside diameter of the Tomei Expreme dump pipes. I need to know as I'm looking at buying a set of front pipes and I'm not sure on which ones or what size to get. Any help would be great. Thanks.
