Problem with that theory though is the 3.0 actually has to be superior to the 2.8 which ummmmmmmmmmmmm, yeah bugger it's not! Otherwise though I'm f**kin keen for Barry to get off his arse and get yours running though!!
I dont understand why you think the Chinese aren't affecting the house prices though Alex? Come sell some houses in the South East, particularly Box Hill and now venturing out into Burwood and surrounding suburbs. You're looking at over 1 million dollars for lots of sub-par houses.
It's pretty unlikely but you sha'll find out in time, we built a RPM 2.8 with -9s and it made 360kw on E85. I think it could have been pushed harder than that for sure with the right fuel setup and exhaust.. but 400.. pretty unlikely with those turbos without straining them.
Must be thinking of someone else, Steve's never been to Racepace. I remember he did make like 235kw when he switched to E85 and a tune he was telling me at Sandown last time I was there... was hard to hold back the chuckles at less than stock 98 power with Ethanol...
Yeah fair enough, cos I've always held the idea that getting to the front of traffic and away from them when it goes green is one of the best tactics you can do on the road, but getting to the front of that line definitely makes me a little uneasy!
I've always thought as I watch people split to the front, don't you ever come REALLY close to knocking someones mirror off, or putting a scratch down someones quarter panel?
Yep I agree, my GTR is definitely a passion and fantastic hobby to me, but I wouldn't hestitate to sell it for a house deposit because some things in life are definitely more important!
Also, happy birthday Hamish!
Yeah well thats it isn't it, I've learned throttle control in the bush but probably a fifth the power that a 636 has.. but the skills translate so we sha'll see how we go! Shame to hear you aren't interested in riding on the road anymore, but I get it!
