An easy check would be to pull the HICAS fuse out of the rear fuse box, next to the battery, then take it for a drive. If it's not doing what it usually does and feels more predictable, then HICAS is probably your issue.

One that almost screwed me over at Phillip Island: Scrutineer told me that dirt bike helmets, even if AUS/SNELL approved, will be banned by CAMS shortly, as the extra length around the chin area is apparently a massive hazard (bullshit), but anyway, instead of running a $400 dollar dirt bike helmet, I'll go buy myself a cheap arse $100 dollar AMX helmet that's motorsport approved YAY CAMS!!

Told me to go speak to Clerk Of Course and see if he can over-rule it. Eventually he over-ruled it and then the scrutineer tells me, "They're not banned yet, but they're trying to ban them right now, it's yet to be updated". Buy standardish one, put -9s or -5s on it. Run E85 and make 370+kw. You've spent under 25k easy and can still afford to keep your Ford!

Yeah it has to be the latest Nistune though, older version's won't do the Flex Fuel as it has to come with the attachment in the ECU. Birds is right though, carrying around a laptop would do just fine to get you home on 98. I've currently got my standard ECU sitting in the back of the car so if I get stuck on the way back from phillip island, just put a full tank in of 98 and plug standard ECU in, it'll be like running 101 octane for the thing. (My Flex Fuel hasn't been turned on just yet, we have the wrong firmware for the Nistune software).

Nistune could always do E85, it's only now they've just started doing Nistune Flex Fuel as well!

Yeah quite good considering I'm seeing people only make 300kw with -5s and E85 on the RB26 Result thread, with similar boost. You'd expect a lot higher with bigger turbos! Keep in mind when we did the 98 run it had stock injectors in, E85 tune it had 1100cc Bosch injectors, some new style that have a GTR plug

Torque is very impressive, for the money he spent on the engine though to only achieve 330kw I'd be pretty disappointed I'm almost doing that on -7s and E85 with stock injectors on 15psi...
