We've dyno'd cars that the previous tune was with Trent, and they are a HUGE difference in readings. Donello Performance has dyno'd cars after Trent has tuned them and still, 50-100kw difference I shit you not. I know of a 33 GTR that's currently about to have an engine rebuild, supposedly made 500kw on Trents dyno even though the turbo's he had on it are not known for producing that power, and guess what, dyno'd and made no where near that, couldn't even crack 400rwkw. Add to the fact that today I just removed an engine from a GTR that had been tuned by us, then he decided he wanted more power, went to Trents, got more power, then it pinged and put a hole through the piston the next time he went to the track. I wish I could say that he's a good tuner, but even driving the cars in and out with his tune, lmao trying to start them in the morning... don't even get me started on his E85 Cold Start tunes. The only people rant on about Trent is because he gets big power figures, so forum warriors can fap over it and brag and omg its so fast hes actually the best... yet they've never really had it tuned elsewhere to know what they're talking about. Also just FYI, the average tune costs $5-600 iirc, I don't think Trent is doing them any cheaper than that, but I guess the saying rings true, you get what you pay for.

Turbo looks good, but unfortunately its Chequered, so it's more like 350rwkw not 435 lolololol pls.

This I can confirm! Have a look down near your Alternator, in front of it (sort of below more so), theres a power steering line which should have a sensor tee'd into it. See if someones undone that plug as it's fairly common cause of the steering being heavy.

Just because you had one good experience with this seller doesn't mean there hasn't been plenty of other rorts with other people. If you had of read the rest of the thread you would have seen the examples cited. I think copthis has posted more than enough proof that he is a scammer. That's not even the kicker either, the fact that it's been 8 pages of requests for him to either provide a receipt, or ANY proof of him sending the items asked of him kind of shows what kind of a person he is, a scam artist.

Yes GTR's were over-engineered so that they could do that pretty comfortably. GOOD return flow coolers are very rare on a GTST budget, lettuce be real here lots (not all) owners of GTSTs just do basic mods like FMIC, pod and exhaust, maybe a bigger turbo if they're lucky. Not many people do the research and buy a good return flow from the beginning. The return pipe is simply too sharp of a bend, just like how on GTR's the rear turbo intake becomes a restriction because of how sharp of an angle the air has to change to get into the turbo. The idea has reasoning behind it, plenty of cars that can't crack much over the 300kw mark with a return flow when they should be making more, but at the same time, plenty that do make more power with a return flow, but they definitely can be a restriction. The problem with the metal intake pipe (this is a good part of why I sold my GTST), is that it still isn't legal, even if it was same dimensions and looked pretty much the same, it's still an intake modification. Then when you get EPA'd and you have a bigger turbo inlet that won't accept the standard intake pipe, what do you do then?

This is true, but once you start going bigger turbos (to 300kw levels) you need custom intake pipes and return flow coolers start to max out not long after 300kw in most cases. It just sucks cos anymore power than that and you're gonna get reamed by Pettet. Also yes you're right, GOOD GTR's are very very few and far between.

It's just nice to be able to drive on the street with 330rwkw and not have any fear of a full EPA or Defect. GTR engine bays can remain completely stock looking and still make that power which is great. The others are correct though, depends what you like driving more, I've owned 2 33 GTS-Ts, a 32R and now a 33R and the 33R is just miles ahead of all of them.
