Fair enough, how much extra does paging and tracking usually cost you?

Also because I like the remotes on them. I've already had one car stolen only 2 years ago, so I like the idea of paging. Edit: I should clarify though, I would settle for that model alarm that you posted as well, just wondering if we had option of other alarms but it may make it harder to work out timelines for when hes in Melbourne.

Has anyone got some good security systems set up at home? My car's been egged outside my house over 10 times in the past 2 years. Just now I have sold my car and am driving around my dad's calais and last night, the calais, mums corolla and 3 other cars in the street were egged, all within 20m of my house. Police have a case running but there's nothing they can do without a numberplate or video evidence of the person doing the act. I currently have a little motion sensor camera setup out the front but it doesn't seem clear enough for anything solid, (not to say it hasn't caught anything though). Any suggestions? I'm at my wit's end here.

Maybe Emo 8s, maybe Hondas (not likely), possibly chance of Silvias (also not likely). I dunno, don't even know what cars to start looking at, 20k is a big price bracket but there's not a LOT of cars in that category that can be as fun/quick or raw as a GTR

Yeah definitely, sucks but what can you do but make the most of it and go and test drive a whole different bunch of cars you wouldn't of considered otherwise.

It did for sure, even turning up it looked pretty good from a distance, closer inspection the drivers side had a murky respray, the reflections were too blurry when looking at it. Popped the bonnet and I was just like NOPE!

What a waste of time that was going and inspecting that car. Yeah lets repair rust in the strut towers by using a wire wheel on a grinder, then some bog and some black spray paint! Weeeeeee!

You're right it was a green P Plate, a bit suspicious of that but should be okay, it's a GTR after all, not made to be babied (and I'm a P Plater and don't really thrash either). Will make sure I get it inspected at work before any money get's handed over as well. Does look nice though!

Around the $20,000 dollar mark, give or take. Not a lot I know but it should get me something fairly clean. Only really looking at Midnight Purple 33's at the moment.
