  6. ^^^ Agreed, such a shame too maybe it was just one of those DIDNT THINK days and was a zombie in the morning, really unfortunate for all parties involved. I'm guessing it still would've just been dark at the time as well?
  7. Silver R33 GTR outside Homlesglen Chadstone, SAU stickers, sounded nice.
  8. Definitely a MUCH better option than the $600 dollar fine with having a car louder than a hairdryer and/or extra defects on top of that...
  9. Nah I saw him around 3pm or so, I didn't get up until 12pm today so no chance for me had SAU stickers and a few others in the drivers side quarter window and the domokun hanging from the tow hook.

  11. Seeing as there were lot's of comments regarding Bernard Tomic's exemption and what not, this might tickle your fancy. http://www.pickles.com.au/cars/item/-/details/08-10--BMW--M3--E92-MY11-M-DCT--Coupe/1452060473

  13. Last time I checked on the vicroads website this car was encumberanced? Has this been cleared or sorted out?
  14. Yes this changed from last Friday, now it costs $3.70, while it doesn't seem like much, Crispy is right in that I take a few that I like and check them and if they're good then I go further.
  15. If anyone has been looking to buy a car in the last few days and has been doing their research on particular cars on whether they are written off or encumberanced, they may have noticed that it now costs money to find out those last two details. Does anyone else find it absolutely insane that what was once a free check to ensure you don't buy anything dodgy, now costs money and less and less people will now bother to pay to know the current status of the car? Sure it may be stupid not too but why change now? Revenue raising at its best. http://vre.vicroads.vic.gov.au/ Borci88.
  16. 2.5" Silicone Joiner, 2.5" or 3" wide, 17cm long piece of pipe preferably 45 degree angle, Attach to mouth of turbo, attach some memory hose to the end. It's actually the easiest thing to make, if you need measurements then you probably shouldn't be doing it There is no "Right" way.
  17. ^^^ Agreed, when you know you've done the wrong thing and think you're about to get busted by the police (no matter how basic or severe), you're heart does race a million miles and you do consider all your options, while I don't think this guy made the right choice, I don't really think its fair to say well he's evading a cop because he doesn't want a defect, so shower the car with bullets.
  18. Not really a seperate issue when my rear P plate had fallen down and wasn't visible but the TMU officer still made the effort to walk from the bus 20m away to my car parked on the side of the road, JUST BECAUSE it was a skyline and told to park and wait. Regardless this isn't the topic at hand, the whole system needs an overhaul and so do drivers attitudes in regards to breaking the law and its punishment.
  19. Yeah definitely, it's not worth the risk and money if things go sour and she does try to keep it anyway, I wouldn't bother with this whole idea, why don't you put it in your Dads/Mums name instead...
  20. $1100 plus 3 points.
  21. ^^^^ Just because its registered in her name does not mean she legally owns the car, but I agree with all of your other points.
  22. LOL are you kidding me, there is usually a TMU officer or two there on average... I speak from experience.
  23. I wouldn't be so quick to assume coilpacks, in fact it could be something smaller like the AFM or CAS. If you think coilpacks though I think you should take them out, check for burn marks on them and if so, wrap some electrical tape around them and see if this changes anything.
  24. Would you consider selling with a RWC? Cheers.
