No as in it now 4 years on P's meaning what happens after the first 3 years? Do P Platers still only get to use a maximum of 12 points for the first 3 years and it resets on the fourth year assuming no demerit points had been issued previously?
  2. I actually pulled out my drivers side rear tail light today for the exact same reason, I just drained it out for the time being but I've put it down to the black silicone/glue thats around the tail lights being the culprit, don't get that stuff on your hands if you can avoid it

I agree with what you're saying but now P Platers have reds for 1 year and green p's for 3 years so how does it all tie in there?
  4. Teins now in, having clearance issues up front on 19s surprise surprise
  5. Yeah will most likely be getting 225 on a 9" rim which should look good, either that or 235 will have to see. Raised the front a bit today, almost stock height!
  6. Yeah I know I love it this height. It's all got to do with the width of the rim/tyre as their 8.5" I believe and 245 tyres so their scrubbing on the arm inside and also the guards inside, once I put my 17s on which will HOPEFULLY be this week I can lower it back down to this height but as it is I'm probably sitting 65-70mm from the ground
  7. New stance thanks to the Teins. Need to raise it a bit up front tomorrow as it scrubs like no tomorrow on the littlest bump.
  8. Maybe so but in my case it's not a Varex, just a standard X-Force system with I think a 4 or 4.5" cannon.
  9. One last question (I hope) Bout to put coilovers in today so thought I'd ask, Full EPA only checks engine, emissions and noise, they don't check ride height or anything like that yeah?
  10. ^^^ I am yet to have a problem with an oiled filter in either of my 33s, my now gone VL and my mates S14. Going on 6 months now and AFM still looks exactly the same inside and works like it should.
  11. Hey guys, I've currently got an X-Force turbo back exhaust system which is 3" from turbo to cat and 3.5" from the cat onwards. The only muffler is the one at the rear. I want to get a new muffler welded in and I was wondering what I should be looking for as I'd like it to flow as much as possible without it effecting performance TOO much. I also want it to be fairly quiet at idle and even when driving around normally but still want to hear that RB note when pushing it, any ideas on what muffler I should be looking at? Cheers, Borci88
  12. What are the spring rates? Definitely interested.
  13. Well that was my thoughts but it's a full EPA and it says on the sheet "Must not have any temporary noise reduction devices fitted". Seeing as theres only two places I can get this EPA cleared I don't want to risk them spotting it.
  14. That wasn't the silver one with semi-slicks on the rear was it?
  15. Haha oh wow... Yeah everytime I pressed Reply it came up with an error, I'll send a mod a PM see if he can delete the last two. Agreed I use warm water also and it works awesome! Also keeps your hands warm in the mitts I suppose Edit: And yep came up with the same error saying I couldn't post in here, exited out and came back into the thread and what do ya know my post was in here.
  16. Hey guys just after a cheap stock exhaust from the cat to the tip, as quiet as possible and as cheap as possible, also open to just borrowing one for a week or two in exchange for a slab of your preferred beer. Cheers! Borci88.
  17. As above ^^ I've sent entire turbos with the dump and manifold for around $150 to Queensland from Melbourne, whole steering racks for $99 and this is through Pack&Send, if you go through E-Go expect to pay even less than half that! Good luck.
  18. You had to play Duke Nukem back in the 90s to understand I suppose, I'm not a big fan of the new one either but I get where their coming from with it.
  19. 3 R33's at Kings Entertainment Complex. shit pic sorry A good 6+ R33s and 4 R34s with a couple being 4 doors on hwy with a white GTR being the most noteworthy pulling into BP at warrigal road. Some idiot P Plater in a yellow R34 with what sounded like a BeeR Limiter just holding it on Limiter for a good 50m plus up and down 3 times.
  20. Following up on the 2 Bucket technique, I strongly believe in it and use it everytime. First picture is the soap that I use and the second picture shows the clean water (after use) that I rinse out the mitts with. You can see I've used sponges but they are only for the Rims as I'm not so picky on those. Imagine if all that dirt in the clean water was back in your soap bucket and you scratched it all over your car again! Soap Bucket: Clean Rinse Bucket: (look at all the dirt around the edge!)

  23. Plan too but also plan to put in a muffler just so it doesn't make noise unless at full throttle
  24. Ahh okay thought so, will have to source one of those because the NA one is only hanging on by a bolt, doesn't have the same noise though
  25. I know Previous owner has it for 6 years with the mods doesn't even get pulled over, I get stuck in a booze bus 2 weeks after purchase and I get done for his mods At least theres no massive mods, exhaust is all I have to worry about now. Is there a difference between an N/A and GTS-T airbox or have I just set it up all wrong cos it hardly fits
