  1. I have the AEM kit on my RB20. I also run boost juice through it. I have the nozle mounted 6" from the throttle body. Since my turbo is huge I don't start spraying till 10psi and full spray at 16psi. The kit has a one gallon bottle that last me a long time. If it were a smaller turbo it prob wouldn't last long but since I'm not in boost all the time it last me a long time.
  2. I remember when I had stock turbo and injectors, Ran it @ 14psi on the stock ecu with a walbro 255lph pump and it started to lean out (13.5's) A/f. Maybe I could have richened it back up if I had a ecu that could tune back then. The stock injectors are 270cc tho so maybe not.

  4. Installed mine this weekend while on my mini vacation. I used the Mojo harness and plate. My coils/ignitor/harness seems to have been going bad because the car hasn't felt this good since I got it tuned a few years ago. Had to redo the timing after install, when I put the light on it showed 10deg. I was also getting spark blow out @ 18psi and that's all gone now. Happy camper over here.
  5. I never had that problem with mine, I run the Gen 1.5 AEM meth kit. Once I get off the gas it stops spraying because of the map sensor.

  7. Why not shoot haltech some mail or give them a ring? E11 is kinda old but someone who works their might still remember it.
  8. Try upgrading to a 14psi base spring it might help with your creep problem.
  9. I do have water temp and oil temp, The Oil temp isn't hooked up tho and trying to find the 1st gen Defi oil pressure is a pain in the rear at the moment. I did suffer from busted coolant hoses under the intake manfiold too lol.
  10. I have 270 Tomei cams and valve springs. So far peak power checks in @ 8k where the limiter is lol. But I'll wait till I have my Sr20VET motor ready to go before I raise the revlimiter, I have a bad feeling I'll kill my motor before then.
  11. That turbo might not be a real GT35. I run a Precision SC61 (yestertech turbo close to the same size as the GT35 back in the day) turbo on my 20 with the .63 housing and stage 5 exhaust wheel. I see full boost @ 5500. 308rwks @ 18psi on my local pump gas and 323 @ 18psi with meth injection at the same boost. Roy how often do you rev your motor out to 8800? I want to rev mine higher but I'm way too scared it's going to kill the oil pump past 8000 . I have to gear to make more power up top too.
  12. Knoect the hood I'm running is a vented hood. Good it doesn't trap much heat, the bad my engine bay gets really dirty really quick.
  13. If I can get of my lazy ass and fab up the mounts I'm going to open mine up from .25 to .35.
  14. $175 + shipping if anyone was interested. It's in the states and comes with springs and bolts to mount the coils. Probably wouldn't work for me since I'm doing mine a little different. Going to weld tabs onto the oem plate and bolt them to the coils on both sides.

  17. Cooler day and alignment done this time before I jumped back on. Same boost level of 18psi.
  18. The RPM scale is a little off on the dyno also done to SAE correction on a Dyno Jet. The pulls were made to 8k rpm max boost was set to 18psi on 91 pump gas. The RB20 is in a S14. Wish I wasn't so scared to go over 8k .   19. It's going to depend on which precision turbo you get. The 6262 is going to be REALLY laggy on the RB20. I have the Old SC61 on my 20 and it's about 100rpm slower spooling than the 6262. I talked to a guy that had one on his 20 and he said he hit full boost @ 5100 rpm while I did it @ 5200. The PTE 5555 might be a quicker spooling turbo since it's smaller.
  20. I had a chance to get a RB20 neo head a while back but passed on it because I wasn't sure if my Tomei cams would work in that new head. Wished I would have just beat the guy down on the price and got it. The ports look bigger and closer to the RB25.

  22. I love it, I own 2 of them. I log all my stuff though nistune so it works out perfect. It's a little over whelming at 1st. I just keep my eye on the A/F and egt then check things over after a pull on the dyno. I have the LCD display for mine but I find that not too useful when doing dyno runs. Keeping a eye on things when your driving it's not too bad. I want to get the new gauge tho looks like it's a little better on the eyes. I ran the same 02 sensor for 4 years before I had to change it. Just like the AEM it has the narrow band output to keep the factory ecu happy.
  23. You could hook up a GM 3bar map sensor if you wanted too but I don't think it's as accurate as the one they sell. I just have the EGT hooked up so I log A/F and egt. I do need to get the map sensor tho it would help with the boost transition tuning.
