  1. Since he is from North America he might be tring to run a EVO 3 Big 16G. IF that is the case then the eBay flange will work.

  3. I am not sure, When I get a chance to get back to the shop (it's an hours drive for me) I'm going to check a few things like the IAC.
  4. I have it set to 40psi without the vacuum line. Nistune realtime board for adjustment.
  5. I'm running a blow through setup on my car. I did have to take my Rips manifold off to change my thermostat and thats when this all started to happen. I took it off again and didn't see anything and installed a new gasket. I'm going to start it again tomorrow and spay some brake cleaner around the flange to see if the idle changes might be a leak or something.
  6. Ok here is the problem, I can't seem to get my car to idle unless I pull the big vacuum line off that goes to the break booster. If I leave it on and try to start the car it just won't turn over. The air fuel ratio while it's cranking with no vacuum leak is like 10ish, with it off it's around 14ish and when it fires up it's at 16ish. So when I fire it up with the vacuum leak that car will ilde high but it will stay running until I seal up the leak then the airfuel ratio shoots to the 10's and the car stalls out. I tried to unplug the maf to get it to idle and it just won't do it. Checked the ecu for codes but none all is good. I thought maybe my injectors were dirty and they were a little from the report I got back after I had them cleaned and balanced. I'm running 824cc Sard injectors with a Nistune Ecu and Denso 280lph fuel pump. I also reprogrammed my nistune and tried it another Rb20 and that car fired up like normal. I'm at a very big loss because I have never seen this before.
  7. Did u spin a rod bearing? You could try and find a good crank and add the oil pump collar and a oil restrictor to the head. Just throw in some new rings and bearings and be on your way. http://www.spoolimports.com/ sells forged rods and pistons for the RB20 if u want to go that route.
  8. Yeah they are the redtop sidefeed injectors. Like I said we had them checked out by a very reputable injector cleaning company and they were all fine after they were clean and balanced.
  9. Thats going to be the hard part out here in the States. The Version of the software is V 1.10r. This is for my friends car he bought the software and it's been on my laptop for sometime till he got around to make his car run again. I'll update if I find the problem.
  10. Ok here is the deal, RB25 with 850cc injectors. The injectors are Sard 850cc that have been cleaned and flow tested. You do the math and the correction suppose to be 44% and injector lag time of .08 (Did a few other calculations but same results). The car idles like crap and won't rev out at all unless I set the injectors to 77% and zero out the lag time and the car will idle and rev out??? Is there some kind of conversion with Commander pro inputs vs the regular hand held commander? I'm at a total loss here. Thanks.

  13. Car was recovered with nothing missing. Not sure if the engine is damaged tho, will have to wait for him to post about it.
  14. How big is the spring your running in the 44mm gate? if is the standard spring get a bigger one and see if that will help. And are you sure it's a real Tial? the knock offs are getting hard to tell everyday.

  16. I got some Tomie 270 cams for my RB20. I'm running a big T3/T4E (SC61) so I'm not going to have much bottom end but who cares it's a 2.0 for crying out loud. I wish I knew how the car ran with them lol still waiting on my 02 housing to built so I can bolt everything up.

  21. Wow 500hp RB20! I didn't think the rods would live over 28psi.
  22. Wow I need to move to AUS!. That sounds like alot of money for a board+install+1 hour of dyno time unless it takes longer. I bought a nistune board and getting a buddy to install it for me. It was like 220-225 shipped just for the board.

  24. Thats good news for me then, wasn't sure if the motor could take 4g63 boost levels.
  25. Do you run ARP head studs and aftermarket headgasket? I'm just wondering how far I can go with the boost on my RB20. I was planning on a max of 25psi but if your doing that on the stock head studs I might just push for 28psi. I'm running the head studs, Tomie headgasket, sard 800cc injectors, Prescion SC61 turbo, PFC, Tomie 270 cams, rips intake ect. I think I might need to run alot of boost before that turbo is happy. I just hope she will hold the PSI and I won't try to blow the motor.
