i know that ur not supposed to measure the tyre but its a quick ballpark way, but still the difference from 6.5 or 165mm to 8.5 or 225mm is 2" or 60mm is still a huge diference. i could maybe see it being the same as a 7.5 but definatly not a 6.5

im currently looking for wheels for my s2 r33, i would like to put 18x9.5 on the front and 18x10.5 on the rear, i know ill have to roll the guards but can it be done with out putting spacers in, and what would be the best offset for the front and rear, stock brakes but will eventually upgrade. not too sure on this subject. oh and its being built for a circuit car not drifting. thanks for the help

uhh 225mm converted to imperial mate is 8.858" a 7.5 = 190 therefore a 6.5 = a bicycle tyre. my STOCK 16's are 225/50 r16 but when actually measured are exactly 8" and thanks for comin out.

im just gunna go ahead and add u cause ur pritty switched on mate .lol ive done quite a bit of racing in canada (not drifting) so im familiar with racing and i know the cost. i get what ur saying about buying a already done car. but theres no fun in driving something someone else has built. its like u buying a car dumping ur life savings in it making the fastest thing on the road, and not drive it cause u have no licence. ive always had fast cars but some one else has done all the work ive just forked out the money. this one is different. i want to build as much as i can(if i have the equipment to do so. ill prolly just keep the 25 then and just change the the internals to forged (without stingeing on a proper tune of course ) would u recommend a z32 afm or eleminate it completely with a power fc? thanks for the advice ill be in touch

thats prolly cause u own a GTR lol. mine's a gts-t. the nismo clusters would be designed for a gtr is my guess not a gts-t

ya someone literally just told me it could be an ecu problem. as for the 2.7 one of my bosses did it to his and recommended i should do that or a rb30, i originally wanted to put a 26 in in it but he told $$$$$$$$$ to me lol i just moved to darwin so i dont know of any decent tuners in the area. ive already got a walbro 255 fuel pump, a 3" cat back, splitfire coilpacks and iridium sparkplugs and i just changed the turbosmart fpr back to the standard reg. as it is my only car the idea of building a seperate engine seems like a good way to continue to drive my car untill its ready to go in. im not sure how u go about building a rb27 but ill definatly look into it. if its to much of a stuff around ill just do a 30/25. i just want to do something everyone hasn't already done.

well i just replaced my turbosmart fpr back to the standard one, it runs a little better but still getting a fuel smell (bad) on start up and idle. i just bought another rb25det s2 so i can rebuild it while i drive this engine into the ground lol. i plan on building the shit out of it and boring it to a 2.7L (unless someone convinces me other wise) does any one know where the best place would be to buy a rebuild kit and where to get a head gasket to suit a 2.7L?
