I'd hate to be hanging of the tension wrentch to tension that crank or heads down wot a mutha

You have to use an R32 gtr speedo drive or the speedo drive out of a vlturbo they both bolt straight in and you hook up your speedo cable straight on but it will need to be recalibrated cheers Peter

Hi guy's and gals Haven't posted for a while been busy at work ,6 days a week suck,just thought i'd post up some picks of where its at now . Going on holidays at the end of the week so hopefully will get it finished then

I'm half way through the install of my auto watch 456rli atm Leon at security in motion is also doing mine and a great job so far everything hidden very well as the dash is still out and most of the interior, Mine is getting auto window closure ,interior lights on at entry,turbo timer,keypad . Still has to complete as needed more of the car reassembled be for he could finish the job but so far very happy with service,he should be able to finish the job in the next week or so price for mine was eight seventy for everything cheers Peter

I know the gtr ones are bigger than gtst ones so are these the bigger size axle ,I thought the gts4 axles would've been the same size as the gtst?

Roy rb26 do run a different pin height to allow for the longer stroke but the rb20 and 25 do have the same pin height so you could probably run rb20 pistons and rb25 crank no worries but with a thicker head gasket by about 40thou going from memory cheers Peter

Hi cubes No ya cant mix them up the big end on a rb20 rod is smaller little end big end rod from end to end centre rb20det 10.5 mm 24mm 87 mm = 121.5mm rb26dett 10.5 mm 25.5mm 85.5mm =121.5mm now I dont have the little end bearings pressed out so these measurements were taken with little ends in but no big ends Rb 26 rod top rb20 rod bottom

Intrestingly enough we measured those as well the engine machine shop came up with the deck heights being the same as I have an rb25 block as well he wanted to make sure but when I measured them here at home I came up with less than a mm differance though that was after machining had to run a bigger head gasket than I allowed for

yep just measured an rb26 rod and an rb20 rod with the digital verniers to get those figgers.Also when doing the rebuild on my rb20 we measured all three rods and all came up 121.5 although I put the rb25 crank in but that makes mine 1.69mm

Just going of those figgers you've got there I could be wrong but rb20 rod is 121.5mm/69.7mm gives us a rod stroke ratio of 1.74.Is that right ?

I have a black bonnet and hinges though the bonnet needs a paint job outside inside is ok

got it from Hitman, gee be 18months ago was in the black 32 it was $2500 fitted and tuned

Using a haltec E11v2 it was tuned to the old engine , this one has a bit more work done to it internally and to the head but the bolt on's are the same so tune won't be to far out

I agree with Duncan on that .Being a father with 2 boys or should i say young men both with performance cars skyline's and wrx I would rather them hand over the keys than have them seriously injured or killed which in this day and age appears to happen to often.property can be replaced you can't
