OK cross member depend on what you have in the car at the moment if you go from auto to manuel in an r32 with the rb20 gearbox you need an s13 xmember but from an auto to manuel r33 box you use the auto x member the mounting points are different from auto to manuel .In your case being already an manuel when I did my reseach for my conversion I was told the original manuel one fits well maybe just a little modification. It all depends what your car was b4 the rb26 went in

The rev limiter was set to 7800 which i used to take it to often in first 2 gears.Low boost was set at 14 psi for everyday driving that said though it was more or less just a weekend car and I only got to drive it for 9 months b4 it went all outa shape but every time it went out boost got wound right up at the very least twice during each outing so fairly often Id say just not for long periods. Actually same oil as you though cant remember what is was though I do remember looking up one of your old posts to suss out what oil you were running as I new you did a lot of track days cheers Peter

Had some head work when I bought it had the oversize valves and some port work but windsor engine reco's did all the machine work (ur ole stomping grounds)and head work eg new valve guides head flowing and straightning of the head ,said it was twisted and bowed got to admit the cams do turn better and faced it ,also did work on the block but I redid the ports a as big as the gaskets to finish it off
  9. hahahahah yeah damn chasis just wasn't strong enough to fend of that pole engine was fine keeping it as a spare well my second spare never hurts to have to many spares .The engine in the new 32 I bought was a built engine but when I pulled it down for inspection it had major detanition in 1 and 6 rest of the engine was perfict.Mains and big ends looked new still but since it was down that far decided to rebuild it with 40thou oversized pistons (79mm) and put the rb25 crank in it pic's of the where im upto now are in my "again" thread Cheers Peter

I would go the performance springs ,I had a set of the gtr springs to go in this build but standard specs said they were only 24kg spring pressure which by many was considered not enough for my application at 22.5 boost . I got the performance springs for the gtr and tested them and they were double that cheers Peter P.s roy are u running adjustable cam gears ??? if so can you record what they set them at just wanna compare to my old set up

Well after alot of friggin around with putting in the rb25 crank and a trip back to the machine shop for some more modification to the block, assembly has started here's some picks of the block b4 modifying it here's some pics after modifing modification with a close up of cut out made to block here's arp mains installed and king bearing's crank all installed and arias pistons on rb26 rods ready to go in Now this is what i've been waiting for bottom end assembled here's where all the time went into head modification rear oil return from back of head porting inlet and exhaust manifolds and flowing the head and a set of 1mm oversized valves the head flowed at 255 hp n/asperated so will flow pleanty with forced induction and here's where I'm upto now waiting on a sump to be made , and when I can find the bolts for the oil pump and water pump I'll put them on cheers Peter

  21. Get the standard manifold extrusion honed you'd be supprised at the differance it makes to it cheers Peter
