Roy Yes I am running cams Hks 264 9mm lift inlet and exhaust hks adjustable cam gears hks lowmount manifold hks to4 as well though its been high flowed now with a .63 exhaust housing and hks 35mm external waste gate custom 3" front pipe external waste gate plumbed back into exhaust just be 4 the catco cat .Cant offer any real comment as to the cams as yet but i know at the 232 kw his only played with the inlet so far he said that brought the power band down lower in the rev range but untill tuning is completedim not sure will post a dyno graph with a tune with cams at 0 you can see the differance though it could be more than just the cams as for comment it think id be jumping the gun just yet but it seemed to improve a bit of boost though unsure not enough driving it yet Peter

The richness problem is due to the injectors im running they've told me hopefully another set of injectors will help that time will tell was gonna go the gtr injectors but they seem to think they will be a bit on the small side .Hopefully it 3will be back at the tuners in a week hopeing to get that extra 20kw im looking for :-) Cheers Peter PS yes am running 17" (255=40=17 ) dont know how you worked that out but im impressed

Well we can only try Im running 460 cc injectors from a rotary I'll try to explain as it was explained to me that rotary injectors have a straight out squirt and are deflectered for the spray pattern where as the inlet for an rb are divided to the 2 inlet valves the straight pattern just hits the side and shoots all over the place thats the trouble with this type of injector I sujestered going to rb26 injectors but he seems there to small for it his only played with the inlet cam so for and a little on the exhaust so he wants it back as soon as ive fixed the problems now where to find some injectors more money but more fun too Peter

  10. just pick up my car from the tuners still has problems but its getting there stopped tuning because of overheating wrong injectors to small and restrictive exhaust attached dyno graph would like opions might make this club yet Cheers Peter

I have a set of hks 264 cams in my rb20det now for the rb20 they have a 9mm lift no machining of the head was needed and the standard lifters are working ok .Hks as opposed to tomei cams from what my research has been able to find out have added to the toe of the lobe and taken of the heal of the lobe to get there 9mm lift as opposed to the tomei ones that just add to the toe for lift Cheers peter

Get an R32 gtr box speedo drive take the gear of the bottonof the shaft and replace it with the drive gear of the bottom of the electronic unit from the R33 box there is a more detailed description done by clint32 in these forums i myself have the r33 box in my 32 but u just used the vl turbo speedo drive then had it recalabratied but both of these work Cheers Peter

Hi Guys Well as it stands at the moment the to4 is having a new inducer housing put on it as was deemed way to small decided not to go with the gt3040r as plotted to be way to laggy for an rb20 just waiting on the updated turbo at the moment so can be refitted then we will try tuning again. By the way anyone know of anyone else that might be good at tuning the wolf 3d for a skyline in sydney Cheers Peter
  16. 1400r , yes you are right on ,that tested the car again today and we were getting that weird wooshing sound as the impeller starts to go the wrong way cant put the old turbo back on without going to a lot of expence remember most stuff on the turbo side of things has been custom fitted but where looking at another turbo at the moment a gt30 the tuner and turbo guy are talking about it now on what to run. Cerealkiller sorry i dont no the AFR its running but the cam timing is set for standard for the time being till the problem is sorted Chris32 havnt chattered to you for a bit but yes thought of that because it had eratic idling to but proved not to be the case turner did the figgers on the flows and its running 90% air flow effeciency on 18psi a boost but they recon the turbo's running outa puff as the cams are starting to work GTST > i dont no the enough about the r33 turbo to commont on that and yes it drops straight down to near stock boost levels but in that 3000rpm range it woops arse Thanks Peter

  19. Hi guys SXC180 it is a .48 when the turbo was rebuilt at Dyna torque paul there said he had never seen one that small but with as large an impeller blade Turbine It was an auto it now has an exceedy 450 hp clutch in it and an R33 gearbox Cheers Peter
  20. Sorry i dont have those graphs but that was running 18psi there but from 12 to 18 boost kept droping of around the same -place and going back down to 8psi within 500-rpm depending on what boost we were puting into it Thanks Peter

Hi Guys Rebuilt turbo on second dyno run much better though the tuner is still not happy with it says exhaust to quite to restrictive (but it nice and quite) beleives injectors are the wrong type (hi flow rotary idle problems) and to small and running to hot so tuning was stopped till problems rectified but still pretty good result will post dybo graphs of low and high boost for opions thanks Peter Hi Guys Been rebuilding my car from the ground up for the last 18 months finally got to the stage of dyno tuning today with dissappointing results I like some oppionions from people with a bit more experence than Ive got on these matters as to why you think its not making much power at the moment the tuners have given mr there ideas but would like some more ,I'll list the mods and the graph and like to hear all idea's 1. 600x300x76 fmic 2.Hks cast exhaust manifold 3.Hks 35mm external waste gate 4.Hks t04 with .4 exhaust housing 5.Hks adjustable cam gears set a standard for now 6.Hks 264 inlet and exhaust cams 9mm lift 7.Hks air filter in standard air box with cold air induction 8.Head ported and polished 9. inlet plenum runners honed smooth 10.460 high flowed injectors 11.Gfb stealth fx plumbed back into inlet system 12. Malpassi rising rate fuel pressure regulator 13 gtr fuel pump 14.full 3" exhaust system from turbo back waste gate plumbed back into exhaust just b4 high flow cat 15. Wolf 3d ver 4 plug in with boost control and thurmo fan control Thats all i can think of off the top of my head that has to do with engine mods bottom end standard but has only 60400klm's on it still hone marks in the bore just like to hear from you guys now on your verdicts on the problem just gotta try and post the dyno graph now.
  24. Hi Guys, Im able to get front mount intercooler kits for r32,r33,s13,s14,s15,+more. All i need is 8 people im buying 1 + my mate), Delivery may be arranged or you can pick them up. Pick up location would be liverpool area, or I can delivery them to you at a reasonable negotiable price tho some deposit would be needed. PRICE $800 , instant pick up delivery once we get 8 or more people(Maybe only 6 more people as i already know people looking for something like this). I am making no profit from this i just want to get my kit cheap but straight away and with no hassle just go and pik it up, this is through a middle man and I bargained with him so i dont think he is making to much of these either. INTERCOOLER specs- 600x300x76 hybrid copy polished PIPING specs- 2.5inch mandrel bent polished 1. ME - R32 GTST 2. My Mate - R33 GTST 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. PLEASE REPLY in this thread or via private msg to let me know how you guys want to ge these kits. And any q's please feel free to ask.
