Wow. People have being doing a lot or their Vs. it's great to see the love!
Today, flushed out diff fluid. Was fun considering that the last person who did it threaded the top nut... Painful but got it done. Also did a brake fluid flush and that went really well. Just came back from a test drive and there is a significant difference. We checked it on throttle position and acceleration times and there was a difference, not just placebo.
Tomorrow and the day after my bro and I are doing a full detail. Shall def post before and afters.
I'm with RACQ for the aforementioned reasons. Way too hungover to type all that though.
Value of the vehicle plays a big factor and not only in the case of a write-off.
The estimated cost of repairs as a % of agreed value will also deem whether a company will repair it or mark it as a repairable write off.
Really depends mate. Your specialist providers such as Shannons or Just Car would be able to assist.
If you're a member with NRMA, RACQ etc, they sometimes do sweet heart deals but really depends on how convincing you are.
It all depends on what you're seeking, better insured value, added benefits, etc...
Nice nuts Mat.
Sean, we give to strife because we can.
I get the car on ramps, take off cover, move tray under sump, remove plug, try to catch plug, remove filter and go have a smoke. That usually does it.
Think that things are getting a little out of hand there. There are far too many profanities and illiterate comments that are doing more harm than good. Think I might watch ACA or TT just to see how they report it....
From what I know, if the declaration to customs states that the item is under $1k, customs duty won't apply.
However, if you do get it shipping insurance and it doesn't arrive, they will only cover what's on the declaration. Is $750.
