  1. Meet us at the DFO Car Park. QR is the end of the journey. I'm Northside so I won't be going to springwood maccas.
  2. Could do. We could all go somewhere and grab some breakky.
  3. Amrit (username AsM) has one for sale me thinks...
  4. Might want to get all that done...
  5. I am too intoxicated at present to eloquently present my argument.
  6. $300 exhaust with $400 shipping....
  7. That was meant to be posted in the random chat etc thread. stup!d ifail....
  8. Mate, that's how you have to be sometimes. time is effin* money. Don't waste mine! Move to the next client who will pay
  9. Out of curiousity, when was the last time you flushed the diff?
  10. The world suffers because of idiots like this. This is in QLD. :bang: http://www.news.com.au/national/mother-and-daughter-argue-second-commandment-should-preclude-them-from-drivers-licence-photos/story-fndo4ckr-1226499211021
  11. Well played! People who are working with Mining companies directly can see the significant slow down. External contracts are being shredded. HUGE cost cutting methods in place. Massive redundancies throughout HQs.
  12. Depends on what the intervals are. Synthetic left in there for 20k kms will turn to liquid faeces. Crappy spec oil will do tops 5k i reckon. However if you're doing changes at $60/bottle every 5000kms it works out to be more exxy than $100/bottle at 10000kms. Both will be in very similar condition at the end of their relative lives. However, if you speak to Harold at Performancelub.com you can get 5qts of Royal Purple for about $70 or Mobil 1 for $65. WIN!
  13. You sure mate? They're currently laying off thousands of people from mining companies. Lots of people are being given the boot. Right place right time is what is rewarded but if you're switched on and persistent, you'll know where to be and when to be there.
  14. That. Is. Hawt! Well done mate.
  15. What goes around comes around. Coal seems to be slowing down at an alarming rate. Oil and gas are picking up steam though. You don't need as many hands on a CSG well though. Should be interesting to see how it pans out. The people that want to work hard and make it will. That's all it comes down to.
  16. Education isn't enough. Determination, persistence and knowledge are what count.
  17. But their hourly rate isn't that great when you look at it.
  18. Edit: That's a lie. They just aren't hiring and are doing a lot of firing.
  19. I was talking about basic financial accountants. The mines have stopped paying exorbitant salaries for new employees now.
  20. They pay their office staff ridiculously well... Depends on the job thought. Internal accountants are circa $100k.
  21. Sounds good. Just post up an address and i can be there. Anyone else in? Noel, Chris, Bodo, Ralf, Pete?
  22. High Vis is where it's at in QLD...
