  1. Also, there seem to be a number of people on here from SA. That could help as well. Think they're organising a V cruise (honestly didn't think people lived down there).
  2. Apparently there are a few mechanics in Melbourne that can work on the Vs. They honestly aren't any harder than a 350z however being an import it magically makes dollars disappear from your back pocket. Nissan tend to charge a surplus and there is a wealth of knowledge here. The majority of problems that you may encounter would have more than likely have been encountered by someone else here. $14k for a coupe.... hmm... does the car live by the fish markets because it sure does smell fisshy! haha
  3. Also check that the motors for the seat work ie. it goes up down back forth as intended. 120,000ks, I'd be interested to know how the clutch is and would suggest getting RACV to look over it. $250 for peace of mind...
  4. Excellent news mate! Any news on how long to repair?
  5. Removing a tooth is negligence? Smacking your kid is negligent. Not giving in to tantrums is negligent. What's happened to the world!
  6. Why not just buy them from eBay? I believe to paint them, you have to bake them in the oven to open them up, then pain it evenly ensuring that it's glossy so that the light still bounces off in the right direction, seal it up do water can't get in and pray that they work...
  7. The offset defines where the mounting point on the wheel is. Offset of 0mm means that it's smack bang in the centre of the wheel. +30 means that the mounting point is further forward and -30 means that's the mounting point is further to the back. So the lower the offset the more fish - design dependent though.
  8. arent you in a sedan mate?
  9. YOu're going to have a fair amount of poke,. Thinking some rolling may be req.
  10. If you're tracking it and doing 100+ mph and you stick your hand underneath, you may feel a smidge of extra downforce however if you're doing that, I'd say that you have bigger issues to worry about!
  11. They claim that they do. Will find out soon. The materials seem to be of very good quality as well. Shall keep you in the loop then let you know when it arrives. May even organise a group buy if enough people are interested.
  12. Far North - Carmen Automotive at Brendale.
  13. GPS? What GPS? Just follow the leader
  14. A - Technically not assault. Permission was granted by both him and his mother. B - Call and report it to the coppers. They won't do anything until it really escalates however it will be on record. so, if he does try and prevent you from doing anything that is relation to the child (change schools, act as a responsible guardian etc) his irresponsibility is on file. This is all based on my legal knowledge from a few years ago. Contact a lawyer for more thorough info or next time he calls, tell him to stop being a c6ck and suck one instead. Know what you mean though, the girlfriend has moved in with me and she gets strife from her ex regarding their son. She mvoed up here from Melbounre though.
  15. Maybe your emails are going to spam... PM instead?

  19. A touch of class eh? Looks the part and seems to be of decent quality material. I've just ordered one. I can deal with a nissan logo on the key...
  20. Cloning can be done if you have a key that works.... think photocopying Recoding is starting from scratch and entering the codes and what not. Cloning can be done by almost all dealers.

  22. I failed miserably....
  23. Castle hill Nissan or Parramatta Nissan work with imports (me thinks). Mention that it's an import and say that a lot of the components are similar to the 350z...
  24. Car should be registered on the 8th.... Fingers crossed! John, more the merrier! V36 with the 3.7L or 3.5L?
  25. For a mod sized sedan, it's starting to get a little exxy however if they were to market it as a large sedan it would be damn cheap (comparatively speaking). I think to retain to classiness and exclusivity they are marketing it as a high value mid sized car.
