Had some pr*ck dent my car in secure parking. Left nothing. Went to work in the morning and car is fine. Come back from a shitty day at work and saw it. I was a road rage machine that arvo. still havent had it professionally looked at cause with the new job i constantly need my car. I also got keyed across 3 panels at a shopping centre. No contact info for either and no CCTV that they would allow me to view. Damn secure parking!

I was considering doing this to a v36. I use my V35 for work and it works well because its a sedan w/ CVT and just a plain good ride. The reason i was going to go for the 36 is cause its got more powahhh to start of with and id be getting the manual coupe. No really point in having two of the same car either. Spoke to a few people and the general concensus is that you'd be looking at about 20k to get it done right. This includes: the kit, ecu, exhaust, cant remember if they incl brakes, and proper tune. To me this would be AWESOME! Since I do use cars for work i can claims stuff of tax, so I'm going to chat to my accountant and see what we can and can't do. But the way I see it, $60-70k for a car that would be very quick and fun, w/ the skyline name and tradition, without the stigma attached to the hotplates would be pretty cool. and it would just be really different. Which is always good. Hope that helps! Cheers, Tony

Car/Engine: 2003 Nissan Skyline V35 350GT-8 65000ks on the clock Petrol of Choice: Usually runs on either Mobil 8000 or Shell V-Power. Just depends on where I am and whats closer. $ Per Tank: $85-$90. Depending. Apparently we have 75L tanks but the most I have ever put in was 59L and it wouldn't allow anymore, so Im assuming that I only have a 60L one. KM Per Tank: 450-550km depending on how I drive it. Assuming 7.5 - 9.1L /100km Comments: I usually sit at 12-1500 rpm. Hardly ever over that. I do launch it at the lights though. Do a lot of driving for work so those ks are usually done in a working week. A lot of city driving when at work. And motorway driving to and from work. I get it serviced at 10000ks by Carmen up at Brendale. They do a great job. ALthough I do find that my fuel economy is better asn I get closer to the 10000k mark. Weird. Also need to change tranny fluid soon. So that may change things up a bit.

Fs: Australianised Silver V35 2003 For Sale!
t5iv replied to MILLOS's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Being an 03 model, when people look for finance, that may cause issues. If they were going for a secured loan, then the banks usually state that they have to be less than 5 years old. Some banks, very few allow 7 years. and thats the longest that Ive seen. People may prefer a secured loan because it doesnt have as strict of a application process as an unsecured loan and the interest is slightly better on secured anyway. But if they have an other form of security, then that may change. But it also comes down to who can drive it. I don't know if its p plate legal in Vic, but if it isnt, then that really restricts your market. If your not in a rush, Id say hold it at that price, because fook me ITS A STEAL! Any ways, just thought id add that because I had a fair number of issues with the banks. Also, when someone picks it up, if they say the banks says that its over priced, just say well its insured for x and thats what its worth. Banks are usually happy with that. Pricks just want their cash. Grr. Anyways good luck with the sale. Hope it goes well. -
haha 5000ks in 6months. my v would love that sort of treatment. i get 5000ks in 6-8 weeks. =P

How Many V35 Owners In S E Qld
t5iv replied to Cra-Z-Boy's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Im game. Just let me know in advance. Im usually at work a lot these days. -
My passenger window has s*at itself. You can't use the switch on the passenger side to make it go up/ down, but if you use the main controls on the drivers side, its fine. Would that be the motor as well? Also, my passenger seat can not move any further forward or recline forward any more. It will move back, but not forward. The seat is pretty far back atm. Any ideas on how to fix it? Cheers gents.

I though Dot 4 was standard in our cars and Dot 5 is what people flush the system with because its better. Didn't think that dot 3 would be a great idea. Not sure. Maybe some of the other guys can verify if its a good idea using Dot 3.

Cool, Cheers for the quick replies. Yeah, the Lexus are pretty hot. Im just too cool for a Toyota. =P Just curious to see if anyone had attempted something like that. Ive been driving the missuses Saab Drop top recently and just a very different feeling driving a convertible. But the V36 Coupe is a very sexy car and will be looking into getting one very soon, hopefully. =D Cheers again guys!

Hey, Did a bit of a look around and it seems that the convertible G37 is only available in the US, which means LHD. I was wondering, would it be possible to import one out of the US and still use it as a LHD? Converting it RHD would cost a pretty penny. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on processes or thoughts on what to do. Cheers, Tony
