I don't mind a bit of banter around the office and background noise helps. in our industry, it's meant to be loud with people on the phones etc however when it's mindless BS because our junior can't remember what she had for lunch the previous day let alone where a candidate is currently working, pisses me off. Eg: Yesterday, the boss came in and we were running a brainstorming sesh for this new campaign. He was asking all of us about candidates that we're working with. I could tell you where they worked, how long for and where they lived without looking. The other senior consultant was close. Our junior couldn't even remember surnames accurately! WTF?!!? So when she asks me the same question 3x in a day, I crack the shits.

I know exactly what you mean. Everyone leaves at friggen 4:30pm but that means that I can have my music on in the background and just smash out work. And they wonder why I make more placements than them... :-P

To get a new campaign out yesterday, I had to sift through a list of 2k emails (with names) and extract those who were Partners or Directors in firms. f**k that. All the feels bro.
