  1. I know. But still... Stupid circumstance is stupid.
  2. Looks awesome. Can it turn corners?
  3. RB25DE? Use a 2.5" exhaust. Now go read more threads.
  4. I've been gradually keeping track of this. All because you overtook a slow driver? Surely there will be people in the courtroom who have over taken before. I had been driving for 10 months when I first over-took a driver doing 20 under the limit. BTW it IS in a legal over-taking area. You DIDN'T do it unsafely. Your car is a performance car and more than capable of speeds exceeding 200KM/H, no mods. It's not like doing 120 or whatever was shaking and rattling your car. What you did was actually the safe option, imo, given you didn't want to be caught behind a slow driver. It's fair enough that you wanted to do the speed limit, so you overtook. Do they want you to hang in the oncoming lane at 80km/h to potter past him? Or do they want you to get infront as fast as possible to lessen the likelihood of a head-on? QLD have so much worst to focus on; schoolies incidents, their education system, getting fluoride out of the water before it contaminates everyone and making sure the cows aren't disturbed my DLS. Edit: last I remember, didn't Nrth QLD want to break from Sth QLD? Edit2: srsly tho, 40 over is nothing.
  5. It has hecktick beats
  6. LOL In Blacktown? Crazy... Best I've ever seen there was a 300c.
  7. LOL got a mate who's always late to things because police pull him over to check out his car, and he get's stuck for 20-40min at a time chatting to the police about his car. Cops are generally okay. I had a highway patrol pull me over once, he staunched up to my drivers, put the whole tough-guy voice on, and started being really anal about things. I stayed calm and polite, he didn't have anything other than a poorly displayed P-Plate and some bald tires to pick on, so he told me to jump out and see for myself. I got out, explained that it's difficult to put the standard p-plate in the license-plate well of my skyline and if it were any lower, it would blow off. Bullshitted that I had magnetic ones but someone had stolen them whilst on a business trip I was returning from, and that I intended to grab some more when I got home. He told me to have a look at the tires, I told him I know a good amount about certain parts of my car, but I was oblivious to tires (which is generally true, especially at the time). He tried to catch me out bluffing, but I was totally genuine so that didn't work, he kinda realized and cut me some slack. He kinda calmed down a little, was being a little nicer, checked the engine for turbos and obviously had no idea what he was doing (the lack of turbo obvious enough, let alone the single air-intake). He kept thinking things were turbos and kept saying, "oh wai.. oh nope." Asked about mods, told him only a short shifter done prior to import and a sports steering wheel done by the previous owner, he let those slide (which is lucky considering I'm supposed to have an airbag in my drivers side). Ended up giving me a defect for my rear tires (which I have to pay.. shit) and a warning about my p-plates. After a stern word about how I now own a car and it's my responsibility to make sure it's totally road worthy, he tucked himself up behind a bush and I went on my way alerting other drivers with a friendly highbeam-flash. LOL also, once i was coming home from my girlfriends place. Came around a round-a-bout with a perfect angle for drift, so I kicked it out. Saw a camry, I'm like "pfffttttt old people, f**k em" slide around perfectly, no rough jerking etc. Was so proud. Next thing I know, the camry was tailgating me crazy. Got through a dark tunnel and *REWR REWR* shit... cops. He let me off saying I might be needing new tires soon (this was before the above incident) and that I should be a little more careful with a RWD in the wet. It was hilarious because the officer who did my breath test looked disappointed and got funny when I told him I never drink. The other cop came up to me with a massive grin on his face, looking impressed. Popped his head into the cabin, kept grinning, looked around, said "you may want to get your front tires change in a month, too. Have a good night" and ducked away. Too funny. I think one thing people will find after being pulled up a few times; highway patrol are much more anal than suburban cops. I've been pulled a few times by police, and the suburban cops have always been really polite and quite frankly, a good laugh to chat to. Highway patrol are the only people to check for turbos.
  8. that 5stud conversion kit, still got it? Got all the parts needed? How much? also, got it for all four wheels?
  9. LOL tried that. My biggest tip is avoid that complimentary tea everyone gives out. The Japanese seem to love it, I just couldn't stomach it :S I felt so rude not drinking it, but I felt sick from it >< Anyone know what it's called? It's like a brown, grainy kinda tea... Also, we felt like being tourists so we went on a tour. It's VERY touristy, and the yanks that attend give you the shits, but you get some good information from the tour guide. You can always go back and visit the temples etc. If you go to Nara, visit the Great Shinto Shrine and feed the deer. It was one of the highlights of my trip ^.^ Just be careful, they like to eat your clothes, too. Also, considering you're on SAU, I would highly recommend finding a cafe that faces the street at watching cars as they go past. Funnily enough, the Corvettes, Porches, GTRs and all those cube cars kept me content when we couldn't be bothered going to a temple etc. If you're in Osaka, go check out that shopping area in Numba... I think it was... M18 on the subway? I really can't remember, all I remember is that there are HEAPS of gaming areas, there's an arcade-game place with this cool game where you sit in a pod and control a robot in a robot-battle. There's also heaps of shops to browse, and take some yen with you because there's heaps of cool tech gear if you're into it. If you deviate a little past the Apple store, you can find this little Americanized area which was rather amusing and lively. Some cool clothes and accessories there, and cheap jewelry. There's a cool manga museum in Kyoto if you're interested in that, heaps of old mangas to read. Osaka Castle is a massive disappointment, it's nothing but a tourist center on the inside, don't waste your money going inside (can't remember if it cost anything.. probably did). It's nice outside and surrounding, but inside was just bleh, nothing traditional. It has a good view over the city, though. Remembering my trip makes me want to go back...
  10. *laughs manically I changed all the audio cables in my Hyundai excel.. shiftiest wiring ever buwhaha, BL to the next owner, sounds good though. Have you checked that everythings plugged in right, that you've got all negs to negs, positives to positives and grounds to the body?
  11. Theoretically easy. Practically a bitch considering the template edits, additional pages, integration to IPB, working around the IPB database structure, etc. No offense mate, but that's a very long winded process. I admire the dedication, but if every user submitted edit requests then you've got a lot of work on your plate.
  12. $11,400 for my non-turbo R33. For me, that's a little shy of half my yearly paycheck. And when you account fuel costs, car parts, bullshit government charges and even worst insurance charges... There's little left to actually use to grab a burger from maccas here or there. For me, personally, if insurance on my baby was $1000 for full comprehensive, I'd pay it. I couldn't afford to leave the house for over three months, but I'd pay it.
  13. I can understand why you'd want it, but when I want to edit the OP of my thread to add other peoples contributions into the immediately viewed post I don't think that's a big ask. I just typed up a massive thread will part numbers etc. for R33 skylines (improved format etc) and I intended to troll the thread and put contributions in the OP, however I just realized I can't do that. Just like with my HID thread, I can't edit the information in the OP because of the limit, even though the information could be out of date or plain wrong. I think we need to remove the time limit to edit posts, it's a bit of an inconvenience.
  14. Late reply, but for the Googlers... Series 2 R33s have H1 bulbs for their head lights. Not sure on high-beam bulbs. Not sure on parkers. Not sure on fog lights. Could someone please let me know what parts the above three are? (I need them for my car )
  15. QFT JustCar took care of me fine
  16. We were bored :] My mate being a gronk >< Mine looks a little high in this one need lowering after an exhaust haha My headlights, for those interested in seeing it's beam FTO FTO Chillin'.. <3 this shot Some random person hyundai I didn't notice in the shots until the end... so we got a pic with it We'll be cruising out again after I get my next paycheck (currently got $5 to last me a week ... sigh) More shots will come, with like... 3 skylines, a couple preludes and the FTO... hopefully. Taking advice for techniques, angles and places to go around the Norwest area (maybe a bit beyond)
  17. Thanks mate ATM it's got a slight black mark on the front-left from an accident I had, other than that, it's pretty top nick. I wasn't going to buy an R33, was looking at 34s, but I decided to go check this one out as a bit of experience. Was one of the only skylines I'd seen (that weren't sitting at TSI) that was as clean as it is. Also; SPOTTED: ALX46Y or something, out on Cumberland Highway last night. Are the Tommy Karia badges legit?
  18. Spotted a black R34 going past Merrylands train station last night, wonder if he got pulled by the police two cars behind him ;] Mine, let me know if you see me around.
  19. Ahh see I was going by what I had been told from friends. Thanks for clearing that up, I'll append OP accordingly. Didn't know that either, thanks. I'll add that to OP as well. Thanks for the input I really appreciate it. edit; They're preventing me from editting it... that's bullshit..
  20. Ha.. what 350GT
