  1. Yeah I looked at autobahn. They don't sell them? Atleast they're not listed on their website... I'll ring them tomorrow. I also read that thread lol, which is why I wanna get a 3A
  2. I don't really know what you mean by turning your 15k into hard cash but go the 33 man. They're really cheap, fkn hard to break and have heaps of potential...
  3. I wanna pick up one of these filters tomorrow... where abouts can I buy one from? I don't want to get one online.
  4. Hate to break it to you, but you can be defected even with Engineer's certs. However, this doesn't make them useless... some Cops will look at them and be like OK and let you go. But if a Cop wants to defect you anyway, he can. Fact.
  5. Thanks heaps dude, I thought that was the case... sometimes really late at night (like 2am); I can hear the bov go off... but even then it's reallllly feint.
  6. Basically what people are saying is if you keep redlining it in 1st you're going to break something. If I'm going to redline any gear it's usually 2nd, I'll be going to fast to redline it in 3rd (for the street) and boosting 2nd is my favourite anyway. Are you licensed to drive the car?
  7. Better than creating a new thread I'll just ask here. My 33 is stock running 9psi, stock bov plumbed back. I can never hear the sound when I throttle off... at high rpm or low. Is this normal?
  8. Firstly, the Police do focus hugely on drug dealers and the use of drugs. They have a lot of squads to deal with said issues, they have squads that specialize in car theft also. I wouldn't say they focus on the road toll more than drug users. The police force is extremely political at times... some young people have died recently in some horrific crashes, so it's just a knee jerk reaction basically. And really... in the end, it's not that hard to get your car engineered or keep it legal. # Don't have big f**k off wheels # 10cm off the ground, is this really that hard? I hate my car lower than this height anyway # POD in enclosed box # bov plumbed back Don't be a smartarse and you won't get done for shit like 'no H sticker' for the gear nob or seatbelt retracting slow etc haha.
  9. yep that's what i've done guys... thanks a lot. i had to buy cheap though lol... $129 per tyre -- brand: kenda
  10. yeah but im fkn poor so that would mean if i do that i can't rotate the tyres does it really matter? what are the repercussions of doing this (having 235's all round)
  11. I've got: Front: 235/45 17" Rear: 225/45 17" Is it OK to put 235's on the rear too? Car is R33 GTS-T I ask because I want to be able to rotate the tyres etc... =] Thanks guys
  12. Cheers Terry. That's probably it, he's not mechanically sound at all so I think he was just explaining in a very crappy way haha. I'll do some searching cheers mate.
  13. Well what's under the airbox... a fuse of any kind? Or atleast tell me what exactly is under the air box...
  14. I'm a noob so bear with me. A guy I'm about to buy a car off says the stabiliser needs to be replaced, his best explanation was that "when you turn the key, electrics go through this thing" and that if you drive the car for like an hour, the engine might stop and you might not be able to start it again. He said it's below the airbox and it's like a fuse type thing ... the airbox is standard and the car is a 33 GTS-T ... what he's saying makes no sense whatsoever to me? ANY help would be really appreciated thanks!
  15. im from NSW... i just wanna know the maximum legal rim size for r33 gtst cuz i dont wanna get a yellow haha
  16. yeah so 18x8.5 would be alright yea? confirmdeny
  17. That's odd... I thought it was only 2" bigger than standard.
  18. What's the legal maximum rim size for R33 GTST's? Is 18x8.5 legal? Thanks!
