8am is way early, i'll have to leave the dirty south before 7 am!!!! on a saturday!!!! GAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! But a new plan is forming..... finish work at midnight, drive to gillman, sleep in stagea, make noise on dyno, laugh at pitiful power figures

Well, it looks like the date is decided, 25th September is the day. Due to other events being planned and new arrivals on the way this seems to be the best option. If you are still keen to come cruising send me a pm and I'll message you the details before the cruise( generally one week prior) There has been overwhelming support from the legnum crew, should see 10+ out on the day, so we have to make sure we represent the stages properly, both in numbers and behaviour!

Xenon headlights are supposed to have auto level adjustment and washer jets, or sumthing like that

alright guys, i've posted up a thread in the VR4 Legnum forums extending the invitation for the cruise. We'll see what sort of response we get and how many leggy's we can get to tag along!

I'm gonna throw boost cut into the mix, have you Got a gauge fitted? Mine has a similar issue, had it when it was stock and still does it mow, just not as bad, with every breathing mod I've done it has gotten better. I'm running standard boost control, full 3" turbo back system with a blitz pod, and my car makes 0.9 bar of boost, ie 12-13 psi. Maybe yours is like mine and it is over boosting.

exactly, these cruises are a bit of fun, and the regulars(ie the shit stirrers) all know each other by now, but its always hard to gauge the level of sarcasm/banter/truth when the words are just typed on a screen sweet, that makes it soooo much easier for me, at least if i can see a bright yellow beacon of shining stagea, then i know the whole cruise is still with me, and it isn't just me going for a drive by myself

Well said olds mark, I have said before, my 3 year old daughter comes with me on these cruises, and my pace will reflect that, there will be no speeding, hooning or skids. If that is what you want, go somewhere else, this is a "cruise", we'll take some great driving roads with some great scenery, some nice spots for photos, and a nice bakery at the end to fill up on great food. I know the harmless banter is a bit of fun(I may or may not have joined in) but let's save the "mines bigger than yours" for the track, that'll sort the girls from the ladies!

So because your Volvo is newer the turbos blow earlier???? Not sure about 10 years either, my car is s June 2000 build. Was your car built last year?? And no OG performance will not be doing tuning, I am too much of a Neanderthal to understand all them fangdangled electronic trickery devices.

And I think I remember someone else having battery trouble, but not in a lonely vineyard, in front of thousands of people.

It's all good, someone's turbo will blow up and then you'll all be too busy discussing the idea of getting some random jap dude to tune your car for you in some faraway land.
