  1. Followed a very nice blue 34 gtr most of the way home on south road at darlington, "hostile" plates. Considering the little amount of throttle it was getting, it was banging some big, long flames
  2. $650 I'm guessing, just like the title says
  3. They are quite large for the application, but they sound cool at idle. It was running the same cams with the standard turbo with 19psi up it. Felt pretty strong then so I can't wait to open it up once the fuel pump is in.
  4. Brian crower 270 cams with 12.5 lift. No adjustable cam gears, seems okay without them.
  5. I'll double check, pretty sure it was the 25g. Still seems fair responsive tho. With the cams it has a really doughy bottom end anyway and then comes on hard in the mid range. I'll get some more details. **edit** *i was wrong, just confirmed it is a 20g, that's probably why it's so responsive.
  6. Yep 25g gotta get the final runs overlaid with rpm and boost so it gives a better indication when it comes on. The owner of the car is resetting the eboost2 now so we can get some psi up it and see how it goes. I just get the fun task of fitting parts and making exhausts for it. At the moment it runs a twin 2.25" system from the dump pipe back, no cat, no mufflers, track only, and it is ridiculously loud but it sounds wild!
  7. Got the tune sorted today, nearly! had a few setup issues, Fuel pressure reg was set way too high and the car wouldn't rev past 3500, once that was sorted, we ran into more fueling dramas, seems the bosch fuel pump couldn't keep up over 6000rpm, walbro 400lph pump has already been ordered. Ended up getting most of the tune sorted tho, made 250rwkw @ 6000rpm on only 17psi pretty pleased with the result really. get the new pump sorted, get the low boost tune sorted and that connect up the eboost and see if we can squeeze some more out of it
  8. Just fitted up a TD06SL25G to an s14 sr20, internal gate running on a old ebay spec spaghetti manifold. Motor has forged bottom end,Bc cams, rocker stoppers, nistune, Z32 afm, sard 550cc injectors and sard rising rate fuel pressure reg. Bolted up fairly nicely really, reused the same bellmouth dump, had to make a new intake anyway for the Z32, and all the lines fit really well. Will be interesting to get on the Willall racing dyno on monday for a tune and see what numbers it can spit out.
  9. My c34 towed okay, rb25det neo auto was good on the highway, but it did chew fuel. If you're gonna get a c34 you may aswell stick with the r34.
  10. Keep the 34, m35's are ghey for towing, full alloy rear subframe needs strengthening for anything decent sized. That and the turbos blowing and the lack of aftermarket parts available.
  11. +1 Exactly what I was thinking. Especially detailing where he sits, what he does and when. I do think fitting ankle bracelets is going a bit far tho
  12. What area? My mate is a Spray painter, always keen for cash work in the southern suburbs.
  13. I'm guessing you're talking rb26? Maybe with a retune that might be possible. And for that price, I'd hope it includes one.
  14. They actually used the car to push it, down main roads in the middle of the day and no one cared. They are becoming much more blatant and obvious again.
  15. So they are starting to tow them away now, the cars stolen from tafe were similar. They pushed a wrx down the road with a stolen soarer, so they would have more time to get it going. Fkn scum!
  16. I thought yours was tuned local? Boost work, or speed lab. Does toshi dyno tune or road tune the car?
  17. In good condition? Have the theives been found too?
  18. I used to spot this thing most days on wheat sheaf road parked next to the road. I always thought it was pretty game leaving it that far from your house. Good luck getting it back, hope it gets found in one peice. If I still owned a road rego import I would def be fitting gps tracking.
  19. thats half the benefit, it's not my car plus i never give away all of my security secrets generally it's pretty obvious that the cats are locked and the dogs are there, not really a secret, you can hear the dogs and see the gate, lol
  20. looks like another onslaught of import theft, There was a theft of a wrx and a soarer stolen from croydon TAFE last week, supposedly 3 lads rocked up in a black stagea. Even the 32 track car in my shed behind locked doors, locked gates and 2 Bull mastif X has an alarm
  21. Would seperate coilovers? I only need fronts?
  22. Have you still got the rear camber arms?
  23. Looks like everyone had fun out there, good to see that nothing was broken or bent R32 in the shed would nearly have been ready, pity the owner is broke. S14 is still a little bit off but that owner is just lazy, hopefully get both of them out to the next track day and cut some laps and some skids
