  10. these are locally made, and he can fit them for an extra $150, probably a bit far for ya to come to get an exhaust fitted. whichever way you go, get them flanged so the can be removed. i still have my big fujitsubo muffler for my car when i do interstate trips.
  11. these are the ones that i wanted to get, but i couldn't justify the cost. they look good tho am performance blast pipes
  12. pics or it didn't happen sounds like fun, throw up some pics or vids if ya got em
  13. all up pipes and stuff only cost $50, but i spent 4 hours welding and blending and grinding. but that is only for the rear tips, you still have to make the brackets(in the right spot) and attach the flanges to both the front section and the rear tips. The easiest way to make them up is on car, that way the clearances to fuel tank, tow bar, rear suspen sion and rear bar is all okay. it would also be soooooo much easier to do 3 inch inlet into twin 2.5 inch tips. the next set i do will be like this. i'm making some for an r32 gtst and an s14 next. I think any exhaust shop should be able to make them up and fit them for under $150.
  14. refitted the cat today, and gave the pipes a quick coat of heatproof paint.
  15. it will be a morning cruise, plan is for a bbq lunch so it won't be finished too late.
  16. why was it a bad idea??? have you lowered it yet? your car sits even higher than mine
  17. i got my my new rear exhaust section fitted up today. started off with 2 x 500mm sections of 3 inch pipe, 1 x 3 inch y piece and a 3 inch flange the y piece is actuall 3 inch inlet into twin 2.5inch outlet so the pipes will need some adjustment to fit old vs new, just needs some paint after the test fit all fitted up, clearance is all good, just need some paint, it is a bit loud now at about 3000rpm, i'll prob just throw a hot dog in the system further up
  18. you could still some down for the bbq, pm me for details, i can give ya a call when we get close
  19. sadly the rs4 makes more power in the end. i'd just mod them both, that way we can have an autech and rs4 challenge!!!
  20. series 2 onwards r33 stater motors fit the neo motor. i just bought a remanufactured one, cost $335. genuine nissan was over $1300!!!!
  21. all good mate, i turned up late anyway. the wife made me sit out in the sun and drink beer all day! that last race was funny as, i just saw calsonic skyline GTR and i grabbed mine out of the garage, pity it was an R32 tho??? i really need to get a headset, was hilarous when i heard " is that a 32??? WTF" you boys were too fast for me anyway (tho in practice before monza i did cut a lap at your race pace of 1min47, i'm just not consitant), i'm more of a crash and bash and hope for the best style with a hint of good luck on occasions.
  22. awesome, the more the merrier! stageas only for this cruise, it's more fun that way, bystanders have no clue why 12-15 volvos are invading their town! bring it out, hopefully it's great weather so we can get some photos along the way.
