Ok I purchased a cooling pro 40 mm triple core radiator from just jap and fitted it last night Cooling system is a lot more efficient thermos took a lot longer time too come on lol had a look at the clutch fan and water pump while everything was off Clutch fans fine but the water pump is leaking out of the hole in the bottom which means it is stuffed Looks like a big job too replace

No the cars been fine all 5 years I've had it. Think I might just bite the bullet and go for the cooling pro item case I have any warrenty issue

The cars just ticked over 90 thousand so not much at all. I regularly check fuilds and replace when nessersary I've done coolant twice now first time when I replaced the turbo to a hight flow item and second time was when the heating issues started. I just had a quick look at just japs web site the replacement drop in alloy radiator retains the fatory fan trim so I'm thinking they should be the best for a full replacement option. Has anyone brought ebay ones ? I went outside and measured the factory radiators side and it is 15mm I have tracked the car before so I want the best for the car. Thanks for the replys guys

Thanks for the reply most of the radiators on eBay are around 52mm thick do u believe that more trimming would be required if it 40mm one needed it ? Do u think 52 mm is too thick ? Is the eBay ones any good there Around $300

My series two stag has issues with over heating when I go for a drive along the high way all of a sudden The first thing I've done to stop this happening is changed the coolant total forward flush then reverse flush and install a high flow thomostat. But goin for a drive this weekend the issue was still there !!! I'm in need of ideas what to try next I'm looking at a aluminum radiators with dual 12 inch fans. Has anyone done this mod and has it fitted when u remove the clutch fan ???? Please help thanks Matt

Hey mate theres a grey plug near the drivers side head light or behind it that the relays and main loom plug into. In the car the switch has a earth and then theres a connector near the throttle cable on the fire wall pretty sure it a 2 wire connector. If u need more info let me know and I'll take photos and send them to u

hey guys anyone purchased new shocks off bilstein ??? gettin a bit sick of riding on isc coilovers starting to knock and too harsh of a ride of the shitty roads of launceston , so my questions are whos got some what are they like , whats the ride height compared to factory shocks and the costs ? the partnumber off the web site for the fronts is be5-2590 and rears be5-2589 but doesnt say anything about fork or eye mount for rear and what does kombi mean? or any other suggestions would be great model is rsfours

hey mate i had this problem when i got my stagea 3 years ago .it turned out to be the rubber seal around the gear stick was torn .u got to remove the plastic trim and then the large rubber cover held in by four bolts then u will sell the rubber seal . as u drive for a while oil simply spits out that seal and sits ontop of the gear box and starts to smoke . i just had to buy a complete new gear sick with the seal already installed so it was a remove and refit new one from nissan it was around $150 i think annoying problem costly fix.

hey guys after a series 2 cluster with between 70,000 km or 85,000 kms !!! the orignal one had a flaulty fuel gauge so i brought one off importmonster and had a whooping 180.000kms. even if it was a series one with the kms im after i can much around and change it to a white face Thanks matt

ok mate hey we go hope ur excite!!!!!! brown- not sure maybe temp blue- not sure maybe temp red- permanent power white/red- acc power black- earth white/green- illumination green- vss (vehicle speed sensor) so all powers u can get from the clock, and the hard one vss i got from behind the instrument cluster the vss i didnt write down so if u dont know how to test i will have a look the next time im free and post again apart from jonny8ball if anyone can tell me the last two wires location please post it as i wish to get that function working thanks matt

hey mate i have isc coilovers i brought around a year and a half ago which came with 12kg fronts and 10kgs rear i found it just to stiff so i just recently brought 8kg front 6kg rear springs and so far so good alot softer than before . car still handles great
