  1. Revtune don't really collate everything though? Just some stuff. SAU-Vic Calendar usually suits most people that run as part of the championship or otherwise. There is literally an event on every weekend for circuit, if you wanted to across all the facilities - Sandown / Winton / PI / Calder / Haunted Hills. Across clubs: WRX, Maserati, PIARC, Alfa, EXE, CircuitClub, MSCA, AROCA There are other groups you can go with as well, but those are the best run so sticking to them is a good idea. Then add in drift/drag and you've got a whole bunch of other options
  2. Put ebay, get ya thread deleted read the rules of the section is my advice
  3. I'm posting from the App right now. Ensure you are on the latest version
  4. And hence - this is closed.
  5. The rules are actually here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81129-thinking-of-organising-a-group-buy-read-this-or-your-thread-may-be-removed/
  6. Please supply full details inline with the Group Buy section rules. I will update the first post once done so. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81129-thinking-of-organising-a-group-buy-read-this-or-your-thread-may-be-removed/ Thanks!
  7. Yeah I'll be there with the food ... Or at the least, I'll give it to someone who can. As usual, please confirm attendance for catering purposes
  8. Yeah but who is to say the cam timing was 100% set-up in the first place? If it was out, then very easy to get a gain like that Really as the other guys have said - you are putting -7s on a 2.9ltr. Putting cams in, is a waste of time. Your power band will be from 3000rpm-6500rpm regardless of what you do because the turbos will run out of airflow, as they run out around 7000rpm on a 2.6ltr. Hell it might even come on before 3000rpm... Not too many have gone and put such small turbos on a 2.9ltr, in fact I don't think anyone has.
  9. OIC I had to re-read it, bit confused myself. I won't be there, the usual suspect that I attend with won't be either. Everyone is doing PI the next week
  10. Yeah he wasn't there, he was 10mins away sitting on his couch. But yeah - dropping 2 rounds... Maybe update the first post or something so it's clear for everyone
  11. Also some of the 'users' are not actually users... They are the search engine/background services for google, facebook and so on. They do not count as a view IIRC.
  12. Should've spoken to the engineer first. There is no way around it, this is why there are 'return flow' kits made, so there is no cutting. Plus as you've already been told - the motor you are putting in is NOT legal anyway. So you've already got serious problems and that is BEFORE you add your non factory intake which counts as an intake modification. Which then leads to the next issue... You are not using a factory intercooler. So not only do you have problems with engineers... You've still got EPA problems. What you're doing really hasn't been well thought out, actually, it's as if there's been no thought at all.
  13. Lend me you car for next weekend then
  14. Sweet Anyone else with feedbacks?
  15. Calder I'd have been ready for hehe. 1.5 weeks notice of an additional round, not so much... And obviously quite a few won't be able to attend (myself included, I wont be repaired for 2 weeks). Wondering can the last WRX PI round added as an option based selection? So meaning PI WRX or WINTON Tampered can count, but not both? Given the majority of the c/ship contenders attended the WRX/PI and some of those won't be able to make Winton
  16. lol... Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow... But one day you're not going to have a great day. But then so will 700 other people.
  17. It's still illegal, as already stated. You can't put an older series motor into a newer model and be legal. No engineer will legally sign off on it anyway as per the above. And if you lie to them, and somehow get it, the cert can be nullified. You can only go forward with technology, not backwards, due to emissions etc.
  18. Round 6 is still Calder?
  19. Was a much better day, even if i didn't make full use of it. Some minor attention this week and I'll be sorted. 100 cars, awesome. 120+ cars, shithouse. Day was run perfectly compared to the other 4 rounds so far this year, which the oversubscribed side was pretty much the cause. Let's hope it continues!
  20. Not required. Just eat and be merry. Squires Loft Nunawading is supplying the food at cost and cooking/extras for free. In return SAU-Vic picks up the raw food bill on members behalf as it's a Members Only BBQ - one of the many member perks!
  21. Well bugger me... I come back after a day and have to cater for a few more! BBQ for Members: Tony +1 John P Simon Anna & Luke Paul S Michael +1 Jamie Owen Dave Allan Matt L Snowy Gorjan Chris T Richo Pete Jamie L Jamie G +1 Lebo Luke Mark Matt B dan.1337 Total - 26 people Is there ANYONE else??? Given it's a pretty hefty increase in numbers already
  22. Yep, it's Supercar - into modified you go.
