Forgive my lack of knowledge, what is t/b and CRC cleaner? And the AFM sensor is behind the metal grill at the end of the air intake correct?

I've had a sudden decrease in fuel economy, the only thing that has been tampered with recently is I removed my pod filter and cleaned it using k&n cleaning kit. I followed the instructions and am pretty certain I didn't over oil the filter before reinstalling, is there something I may have effected that could cause an increase in fuel use? Or is it simply most likely due to the ridiculously hot weather. Cheers for any input

Yes smokey the bottom lights have a wire running from the yellow lights/blinkers to the lower fog lights, both plugs come from the same loom so u may have cut urs off, oh and the globes are very easy to come by, got new ones from super cheap auto, think the globe type from memory was H1 12v 55w

My radiator packed it in this week aswell, new one from Nissan is 700 bucks and 3 weeks wait, I got lucky and got a second hand one from just jap so maybe call around and ask if anyone has one otherwise like the others said upgrade to an alloy radiator and get a separate transmission cooler as if u have to go through Nissan in the end cost will end up similar anyway so u may as well upgrade, alloy radiator from just jap is 300 bucks don't know about trans cooler though, oh and if u check out the first page of the parts list someone mentions replacing their radiator with an r33 one and quotes a part number if that helps

Thanks smokey, did you have any issues with the wiring not being long enough to reach the lights after repositioning them?

I have a dayz front bar and as a result of putting an FMIC in have had to remove my dayz foggies, I noticed some members discussing relocating them to the outer holes on the bar. I would like to see some pics of people who have done this and also get some tips about the easiest way to do this. Id rather not leave a rare factory option off the car. Cheers Chris

I just had a just jap kit put in my car, can't say exactly which one as I got it used of another forum member but yeah it bolted straight in only had to have a small chunk of the reo bar cut out to make it fit, pretty sure it's one of the cooling pro stealth kits which go for about 300-400 bucks, they aren't as pretty as blitz etc kits but it does the job and the engine bay looks very close to stock

Yeah I am but dont tell anyone guy actually asked me who the stig was the other day haha, and yeah will definately try and make it to a cruise some time

I got my stag as a first car straight off my p's, no drug dealing I saved for 2 years for mine, and i definately wouldnt say I have any sort of attitude problem. One of the reasons I bought a stagea was that after lurking these forums for several months I observed that stagea owners came across as more sensible and mature then other groups of owners, the sort of group I wanted to be part of.

If you are talking about getting a sound like a ball bearing rolling around a tin can and shuddering when turning full lock in one direction could be a cv shaft rooted, thats what was causing mine.

I'm gonna go with charlies advice seeing as he is the one who really knows the car. After Christmas will hopefully get the turbo rebuilt be precision turbos who are also the guys my mechanic uses, also I did put the stock air box back in with the panel filter and found it made no real difference in performance or fuel economy so I put the pod back as it sounded better as for the boost controller to my knowledge it has never been touched I have turned it down recently but like I said it only ever plays up when going up really steep hills, eg when going through the national park, so it hasn't ever been a big issue I just wondered what caused it to flip out
