Sorry jetwreck, didnt realise everyone was ment to know everything about cars without ever asking a question, didnt realise these forums were a place to bash people over knowing less then you do about something, I was under the impression they were for asking questions and learning from your peers? oh well guess I will take my questions elsewhere in future.

hey guys, was just under my hood and was wondering what system the metal cap that is in the middle infront of the engine block and fan is from im assuming the radiator?, on the stock engines it has an orange sticker on it which seams to just be a warning not to open it while its hot, however looking at mine it says blitz, so im wondering if anyone knows what blitz bit if any this means is in the engine bay somewhere? Its not a BOV or FMIC. Out of curiosity does anyone know how easy it is to get into or nick a stag? I found a magnet stuck to my driver side door beside the handle making me think some muppet tried to get the door open and it got me wondering how vulnerable our pride and joys are, ive got an alarm and immobiliser but at the end of the day ur alarm going off really doesnt stop them from takin it....

This just started happening to me, as a temporary fix would turning the boost controller down slightly help? because mine seems to boost a bit past normal say 12psi on the gauge before cutting itself back to not going past about 6, so im assuming ive got a sensor detecting too much boost and trying to cut it back but not working properly?

That sucks man, thankfully our cars dont get bricked but its not uncommon that we get maccas 30 cent cones and drinks thrown on our cars, what possesses these people i do not know....

Is it 32/33 gtst seats for series 2 stag aswell? Or will seats from a 34 match up

I was in a mazda 323 that deflected off a solid concrete wall at 70km/h, it was a complete write off too but the bags didnt go off, think it just has to be a really really hard front on impact to set them off, and also when u turn ur car on there is an air bag light that comes on for a few secs and gos off after the computer has checked ur air bags are all sweet so im assuming if ur light gos off then u should be sweet

Was just wondering if theres lights under the gear stick so u can see what position its in at night or if ur just supposed to use the dash display? I dont have any there or for the climate control, just lights behind dash cluster with speedo etc, is that just how stags are or are mine busted haha

hey guys, just thought id add for anyone considering it, after reading this thread i decided to replace my O2 sensor to see if it made a difference, i now get 400+ ks a tank as apposed to around 300, massive increase for 200 bucks worth so well worth getting checked out if ur getting terrible economy, thats for spirited driving on highway and around town too no granny driving

Hey guys, just made the mistake of leaving my cargo blind in my carport and subsequently had it run over and destroyed by one on my parents... ive had a search through old posts about this and what i can gather is that they are pretty expensive to replace but thought i would check if anyone has bought one through nissan or just jap etc and how much it has cost as most of those posts dont actually mention anyone buying one just talking about it and they are a few years old so im hoping the price might have dropped and availability improved. Oh and this is for a series 2 c34 cheers
