well if it is an aftermarket one its not much of an upgrade !! i took the front/dump pipe off (im installing jjr bellmouth) and had a look at the exhaust wheel on the turbo and its white/grey and looks like ceramic !!!

its a 2001 series 2 sedan

all i can seem to find anywere on google is that its for an s14 s14 ??? but is there a chance they use this on the r34 or could it be an aftermarket replacement ??

hey i had this problem with my car a while back and i never found the problem i was giving it a bit going through the twistys in the dandanongs all of a sudden i had no power and could not get over 70 ks i got realy concerned because there was not engin light , i tryed unpluging and re pluging the afm plug but it didnt fix it so in the end i just disconnected the battery let it sit for a few min's them reconected and hey presto back to normal and it hasent happend again (i also have all stock ) i think maybe the computer had a brainfart or something lol hope this helps

i tell you what if you own a series 2 r34 maybe do some research before you go for the blitz turn flow intercooler. i read up on how easy it is to install on an r34 and with minimal cutting but i guess that only for a series 1 !!!. it is doable but i tell you what you have to cut the hell out of everything and modify lots !. this is not a tutorial just a couple of photos so that if anyone wants to know how it goes with series two they have an idea. very minimal cutting with the bumper its actually UN noticeable but the reo had to be butchered (not that bad but more than i would like) see the problem is that a series 2 the reo sits about 2 1/2 inches lower than on a series 1 so not only do you have to cut some off the bottom of the reo you also have to cut some off the top and the brackets that attach to the headlights . i will add more pictures that are more close up if anyone is actually interested

so fare chance i have a R32 GTST actuator at 12psi so is it un common for a car in japan to have an upgraded actuator but not turbo ?? only reason i ask is because i havent pulled the pipe off to see ?

get a mate to lie under the bacl of your car and push up on the mufler dude when you have taken off your cat the mufler will cause the exhaust to twist on the rubber hangers

yeah im going to do that i just want one spare (i know if its boosting to high just dont put the foot down all the way ) so if its too high i can take it easy untill i replace the actuator (if it changes boost ) thanks for the advice people hopefull i can still get hold of one (just incase )

now my mate sugested that but my actuator is set to 12psi and it will go up to 14 psi when the exhaust goes on (well thats the general outcome with people on this site.but i was under the impressiong boost controller can only up the boost not drop it ???

found them $30 bucks ill sign up to the site if i cant get the one off hekt1k

hi iv tryed all the wreckers in my area and no one will sell an actuator without the turbo what my problem is im about to put on a 3" tubo back exhaust but for some reason the owner in japan put a 12psi actuator on so if i put the exhaust on my turbo will be booting too high for it to handle, does anyone have or know of someone that has an r34 gtt standard turbo actuator that i can buy ?????, oh yeah im melbourne area !! thanks for you help

i have the eonon in my car and love it , but make sure your getting the latest model because all there units before feb this year are slow and buggy

once you have the 10psi actuator the solinoids will be obsolite wont they ??

lol yeah it gets that way im currently saving for a fmic and turbo back 3" dump/front pipe , cant wait only a week till i get to order it them maybe a nistune after that should keep me happy for a month or two lol

yes i understand were your coming from but isnt it easyer just to answer the question for him !!!! we all know he will end up leaveing in on high boost but if its a switch he wants let him do it thats all im saying if someone askes for help they dont want to know what your aopinion is they just want your help if you know how to do it tell them if not move onto the next thred

honestly how hard is it for people on this site to just answer a question on this site instead of trying to belittle them o for one am running 12 psi via an actuator so i cant turn my boost down but if i wind out 3rd too long (even with quarter to half throttle ) my car will step out once i hit 100 kmh . just answer there question thats why the joined the forum !!! to get help off those who ave been there and done that before . i reckon all you people that search the forums looking for someone to harass with "do a search " or thats stupid what do that its pointless" can only say that because they don't know how to answer the problem !!! if you don't know the answer keep your mouth shut and move on , if you know the answer take 10 seconds out of your life and answer the poor bugger geeez

he may want a switch because i doesnt want always high boost for example in the wet !!! its not too hard mate all you need to do is get your self a 3 way on off on switch (or a two way on on what ever you find first ) no the wire from the solinoid needs to be wired into the center tab of the switch and the other two (the earth to the car and the earth that leads back to the computer ) get wired to each side of the swich taps (so for arguments sake the earth of the car on the left tab of the switch and the wire to the computer (the wire you cut off the solinoid ) goes to the right tab of the switch so now all you have to do is rock the switch left for high boost or right for standard two stage ill try draw a pic in ms paint to show you and post it
