  1. The turbo is SOLD now, was selling because i want to upgrade to a gt3076 where do you get 3inch dump pipes for $150 new??? can you get me one for a garrett for this price? if you can im very interested lol

  4. Reaction time does affect ET, this from Willowbank raceway site: Most newcomers to racing leave when the green light comes on. This will give a reaction time of well over a second. For example, if you pulled a 1.12 reaction time and your opponent ran a .060, you have given away over six tenths start right at the start line. For a more graphic example, with two cars of the same performance running 100 mile an hour in the quarter mile, this .66 wasted at the start represents 96 feet or about 6 car lengths at the finish line!
  5. thats a good time, i bet some of the twin turbo standard ones dont do much better, i wouldnt of thought a button clutch would of been the best choice, you cant really slip it off the line that well can you? looks like it can already do a high 13 with better launch and reaction time..

  8. 1.Cordia Turbo- piston slap nightmare that haunted me but had some good fun 2.R31 gt Passage - nissan sweetness, 3.VR berlina- special in its own way, dual fuel was heaven $28 per week 4. EL falcon : dam i love that torquey 4speed, handles like a boat but reliable 5. R33- is another world, addicted.

    whats the go with it? was it ever run?

    im really after a internal gated housing but what is it you have, does it have a whole for the tial or how does that work?

    I know i can get the core for $1500 new and the internal housing for %500 so if you can come down a bit id be interested.

  11. plugs would be about 10 000kms old usually let it stop its priming so 5seconds, it primes again when the key is turnt ( must be normal) Fuel filter is 5000km's old fuel is one week old so fresh, it was being driven daily then was not started for 4days if driven daily or every couple of days it will start without the symptoms, but ill replace the plugs, filter again and injectors will be replaced in a few months cheers for the input
  12. hey, Ive noticed that when the car hasnt been started for a while ( atleast 3 days) that it will run a bit ruff and shaky for about 20seconds,( exactly like when you give a wipper snipper too much choke and it starts up all shakey then comes good) Does anyone have this happen? If driven daily it doesnt do this.
  13. mines brand new and sounds similar to yours, i thought it should come out close to the floor but it doesnt
  14. im no expert but sounds like its either fuel pump or fuel filter, you should never run the car that low , it may have stuffed up the fuel pump but a fuel filter is cheap so try that first.
  15. it has been running 14psi using an ebc since it was tuned, have tried higher but my injectors are leaning out
  16. i bought the car with the highflow already done, id say about 40 000k's, its in very good condition, if you live in brissy you can come see for yourself
  17. cheers for the input.. that power fc sure is rough with the rev limit, i tried setting it for 3000rpm cause i was leaving the car in for wheel alignment and i just about got jerked out of my seat lol.. and the raapah pah pah sounds niceon 7000rpm
  18. ive heard surfers is a hotspot for cops pulling over imports, havnt had any trouble myself, but id say if your making alot of noise with blow off valves and droning exhausts then you'll be pulled over..and if it looks rough with different coloured panels or somthing..
  19. it seems down south is tough with the laws, each time ive been pulled over they have never even thought of popping the bonnet or measuring the height of the car, lucky me.. but they seem to come up with some odd assumptions, my bro was pulled over for just accelerating past them under the speed limit with zero boost, a young officer said you were boosting back there,, as if comming on boost is an offence???? not his fault his car is quicker off boost than there camry shitbox.. lol pulled me over and reckoned i was doing a burnout, i was on 1500rpm .. as if.. gees...

  21. +1 to the falcon, i drive one daily and it is just superior for doing the km's, 10L/100kms it is just pure torque, its an auto and 1700rpm just gear changes flowing and keeps up with traffic, easy and economical what more can you ask for? handles like a boat but thats not what its being used for lol..
  22. its probably not that far out depending on how easy your driving it, even with a power fc and gentle driving i get approx 450 out of a tank, but usually can only get bout 50L into it even on the empty line, so that doesnt sound so bad i guess, maybe your just doing alot of city driving and bit heavy on the throttle plus bit low on compression and tune etc

  24. bit off topic, but what about for short bursts.. eg drags i see some people do 7400rpm for example, is that only if you have cams and aftermarkets springs or a special rebuild combo?? just interested what the limits are if you had a big turbo with the legs to keep going.. i wouldnt want to rev past 6500 very often myself though. this isnt relative but an old guy i know says the LS1's can rev alot higher than there rev limits , so the the factory rev limits might be quite conservative..
