  1. heres a recent dyno printout, has very good response low down, full boost under 3000rpm and just pulls
  2. i have the standard bumper to go back on, and the petrol cap is with the panel beaters cause there giving the gtr spoiler a new paint job, picking them up soon
  3. Id consider selling mine for 10K but would remove some stuff, well worth a look cause its had plenty spent on it and i have proof of its condition eg dyno, compression test i just put it up for sale just now so take a look if you like.

Selling my car to buy a ute, 1996 R33 skyline series 2, Has the following: 18inch rota Grid wheels with 245/40's ( only 6months old, lots of tread) front camber arms, car has had recent 4 wheel alignment and camber adjustment Tein Ha coilovers in Perfect condition Power FC with controller, High flow turbo, Exedy HD clutch less than 6months old Avcr boost controller,FMIC, 3 1/2inch exhaust ( quiet system), spitfire coilpacks,, walbro fuel pump, z32airflow, cold air intake, comes with brand new z32, has GTR driver seat and a GTR rear wing The car is in great condition, 164k's and has been serviced every 5000km's, the engine is very quiet, has never used oil and has great fuel economy 10L/100km with mixed driving.. was tuned by Mercury Motorsport and made 215kw with 14psi, have dyno sheets for proof Looking for $11500 , will come with RWC upon sale and 6months rego, maybe consider separating Pwr fc,wheels and coilovers for a cheaper price.. 0466 257 118 located south brisbane
  5. Definitely look at just buying one already modified or maybe a 32gtr .. but otherwise id go straight to the most important part, the turbo , get a gt30 and some support mods to make it put out . assuming all the servicing and belts etc are all good.

  9. most of the spacers ive seen on the net/ebay are starting from about 15mm upwards, i need some spacers 5mm for the front cause the wheels are 9.5wide and have wore out several mm's off the front strut... should i buy these 15mm spacers and have a workshop grind 10mm off them???

  11. what do you mean by carbon heavy? with 5000km changes and premium oils and fuels why would there be much carbon in the engine?
  12. i dont understand why a gt35 wont hammer on a rb25, can someone enlighten me? cause ive seen them on utube and they absolutely have balls , and why isnt 18psi in there efficiency zone or close enough to it? from reading the thread its a tempory setup by a guy that likes to tinker with his beast, whats so wrong with that?
  13. what settings have you guys found works best for your teins? i found setting of 5 anticlockwise from firmist on front and on the back fully soft to the max, i think the front should always be firmer than the back due to more weight, although the link suggest equal front and back
  14. no one has mentioned the difference in stroke with each rb, the rb26 to me sounds more like a motor bike with its shorter stroke, the rb25 is shorter and the rb30 shorter again, so maybe its the stroke that play a big role as well as the compression ratio's of each rb. Ive noticed the turbo makes a big difference as in how well it flows and spools makes the sound of the gases both intake and exhaust rush in and out faster making it sound really angry or a bit soft..
  15. does an oval resonator restrict flow over a hotdog type one? and what size dump pipe should be used with gt30's, does the flange support a 3inch only or could it go upto 4 inch?
  16. why would an rb need an oil flush? there probably one of the cleanest engines you'll find in most cases.. if anyones interested , been using the royal purple now for 4000kms, no oil usage and still a nice brown tinge, good oil pressure too
  17. I just put on the 3 1/2 inch fujitsu cat back system, its very quiet and sounds alot more refined compared to a loud exhaust.. i doubt there'd be any legal issues with noise
  18. maybe theres too much wheelspin when it hits 650kw? that much power would be insane.

  20. speaking of RB20E, i one had a skyline with an RB20ET, i bought it thinking it was a RB30DET cause it looked like one under the bonnet, Didnt drive that bad really until the auto decided to start slipping and then found out it was running 1 bar of boost. lol..
  21. id be keen to see the results of that combo, thats an inch wider than mine on the back, i dont think you want too much more camber on the back, its got enough already it would be awesome round a track though.
  22. a while back i set my cas all the way to the right and i was running 11psi with FMIC and exhaust, but with octane booster the car never pinged, or atleast i couldnt hear anything... but around the middle is about right..

  24. yeah well certainly on paper it sounds better than an rb, i cant speak for it really though, ive never driven one, i just like nissan since the first vl turbo that i drove, was like a jet engine, smooth and silky , but nasty.. from then on ive been sold on rb's.. for me i just feel that the rb is a very well designed bullet proof motor, and i have confidence in it..
