Yep low mounts can take a long time to fit, if you get a highmount and a mod plate then you'll be able to drool over the turbo when the bonnets up and be legal at same time... mmmm... fark yeah!!

Not trying to go off topic here but have simple question, will the blitz return flow be likely to pump out 340kw with ease on a RB3025 with E85? i have option to go blitz or the cheap china one which i already know will do the job but will require much labor to put on...compared to leaving blitz on the car already..

Finally got the covers and turbo housing back, i was originally picturing more of a highly polished look and this come out quite bright if you know what i mean ... this is blindly bright lol Gonna paint the middle core cause they tend to look all rusty after a short time, hoping to keep it looking this new for good... Lucky i found these little balls that were in the comp housing, dont think the engine would of like to suck these in.. alot of these guys do a great job on things but then fail on these fine details, fabricator leaves dags that will be sucked in too so i usually take all the pipes off and sand clean them before the engine can be started...

Don't know bout others, but pulling an engine out is a bit of an anxious moment, only second time i done this and bloody knock sensor played hard to get but managed to pull the connector off without an engine dropping on my arm Someone should buy this SS2 turbo, was loving the pulls the other day , was only on 8psi too...

Not sure about the technical side but i reckon RB30 motor and RB25head would be cheaper than buying the whole RB25... it really is pretty simple to do then i agree with the sutututu guy above lol...

Removed the engine today, i wont be able to use that dump( 3inch two piece) and probably the braided oil feed and coolant feed or the manifold so make me a deal, not going under $1100, to buy this new and pay for all this stuff is well over $1.5k... You will not find a SS2 with less use than this, seriously good deal... practically brand new, its not some turbo thats been flogged on a track .. less than 1000k's of low boost driving... Even with a stock/mild RB25det is very slow and boring... If it has to be non turbo then open your eyes to a 3L supra and 300ZX, they can be quick for a non turbo I drove a 300ZX NA manual once with a full zorst and the thing was fast and actually sounded pretty tuff, add targa roof and surely we reaching ultimate P plater vehicle here????

The 6 boost i had was top notch, Welds looked awesome, the only part that could of been and issue and was suggested was that the gate pipe was on a 90degree angle which i was told could lead to issues with controlling boost, the sinco manifold i just bought seems to have put more thought into the gate angle and she's a thing of beauty... Sinco goodness...

mmm, the japs know how to build sexy parts, suprisingly there are no silencers in this... could hand this in the living room/mancave lol.. And the two RB's ready for a engine switch .. helpers ready .. Took the maroon one for last squirt round block, some nice pulls and pops on backing off throttle.. sounds awesome..

Picked up the HKS hi power 409, i was expecting restrictions but this doesn't have the expected 2.5inch silencers, i had to google about exhaust size measurements and correct me if wrong, you measure OD right?? Seems the smallest part is the bit that will bolt to the cat , which is 3inch , this continues thru the small resonator we'll call it, then its 3.5inch, then at the flange it steps up to 3.85inch which goes thru the cannon then 5inch tip... So this could be loud, we'll have to see but a thought a JASMA rated catback has to meet a decibel rating?? but with a GT3076, top mounted, and 3.5inch dump, maybe it will be much louder than Jasma hey...

Took for last drive today, starts to pull nice from 3000rpm, for an untuned motor its impressive looks a decent size sitting under bonnet and sneaky... limited shaft play, identical to when it was new...

Intake pipe has been parted ...... I am now keeping the dump.................. So, we now have the turbo and oil feed for $1000......... plus postage which is usually bout $20-30...
