Looks great mate, love the GTR bar, on the mods i guess it depends what you want in the end, best to figure out what your gonna spend and how you gonna drive it, an RB30 or 25neo with 3076 is what im into due to torque.. but i hear RB20's love the revs so that sounds fun too , at 220kw's im sure it'll be fun either way
  2. Selling a stock manifold, it has extra long studs fitted by fabricator, ( this is a PITA job ), will also come with the spacer for hassle free GT30/35 bolt on.... $50 located south brisbane 0466257118 Mark
  3. If you take the plenum off check the two half's are flat and not warped, my R33 plenum had a bow in it and a new gasket was not enough to seal it, and tightening the bolts too tight makes it crack, lesson learnt here..

Obviously a screamer out he bonnet is not a good idea but it could be used on a track or the drags and plumbed back in on the street, just to say the obvious for your clarity that is... so your saying it sounds shit then, is that you point or are you just focused on the pipe out the bonnet thing?

Have 2 questions, why do the japs make there manifolds like a 3 into 2 into 1 ( if thats the right description) with shorter runners and smaller collector and aussies like the 4 into 1 style with long runners and bigger collector? Also, on this Jap website they are saying that the HKS Hi power exhaust with silencer is not restrictive but not specifically when it would be , ( 340kw's on dyno graph) So if you want the best sound which these muffler types do give (my opinion) is this 340kw figure accurate or just advertising rubbish? http://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/product/exhaust/muffler/hipower/index.html Doesn't matter that much as i'll likely get a 6boost type and use large mufflers but just interested to know
  9. sounds alot like an exhaust blockage, could be the catalytic converter, i read an older thread where the traction control made the car sluggish also if that is relevent..
  10. not an update but after fitting the turbo on stock manifold, not real good having the a/c pipes so tight and close to a 3 1/2inch / 4inch dump plus external gate so im pricing up a top mount manifold and so far the sinco top mount is coming up the goods, so stay tuned for pics for a top mount and 3076 ... i think it will look a shit load sexy and give me far better value if i choose to go GT35 later and shoot for 400kw's... just saying.. also, i want this combo to sound raw rb and angry so top mount may help in this regard and having middle muffler with rear cannon, silencer removed for raw rb lumpy idle also going to get a slim number plate to open up the front intercooler space, will need a mod plate with all mods too to relieve stress etc..

I've been to a few places where they have a big sign up, saying like "our normal hourly rate it $80/hr, if you talk to us while working its $120/hr, if you start telling us how to do our job its $160/hr", was more but i forget now My tuner was happy to chat though without the extra charge and let me do some easier tasks..

  20. After driving a GQ patrol, the skyline will feel like a 10second car lol... mine has become a museum piece for the last year
  21. i chose 2 X 1.5mm tomei restrictors and the feed for VCT, could be wrong but mine is a street engine and i like the idea of plenty of oil cooling the top end plus the RB30 pump runs the top end of RB30 with 2.4 restrictors so its still a big difference.... oil cools shit down so unless you on a track then why go so restrictive..

  23. Wouldn't high mount be a good thing at that power level, if the tune is averaging EGT's and mixtures then having equal length runners should give a better safer tune for a stock bottom end?
