Unique R33 Gtst, Sunroof , Ss2
AngryRB replied to AngryRB's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
funny guy! seeing as your R34 does around 13second quarters standard and this gtst was doing 13seconds with a shitty little 2540 on 11psi, that seems unique to me.... -
Dear Jesus Help Me Before I Burn It, R34 Issue
AngryRB replied to Nathanhill1402's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
If using a Cheap china ffp, could be worth checking the flange and pressure testing it.... http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/382409-rb25-intake-plenum-upgrade-rb26-intake-or-ebay-special/ -
My bro's R33 going to auction in a few weeks, anyone interested could enquire.. following are basic details - Series 1 R33, factory sunroof, has 400R style bodykit and wheels ( nismo) , - R33 nismo 300km/hr dash, - Safc fuel adjuster - SS2 turbo - 3 1/2inch exhaust, sounds angry like a GTR different to my gtst.. - return flow intercooler - nismo short shifter ( pretty sure) very short fast gear changes - exedy heavy duty clutch - hasn't been tuned so needs some further mods and a tune Drives pretty good, has always been a bit of an unknown quantity cause it seemed to go better than it should, he ran a few 13 second flat passes with the old turbo which was only a GT2530 on 11psi , would be a great project car, needs some TLC but is a unique car, probably will not last long so just seeing who's interested .... He's pretty firm on 9k but might be open to offers which i can pass on... I'm hoping it doesnt sell cause i wanna buy it but he needs the cash so ive put it on here..

So put the neo head on the RB30 and there's some differences between R33 manifold and R34 but no actual manual for the R34 so trying question - Does the neo still have that air reg under the runners, the one thats square shaped with a inlet and outlet and electrical plug? seems like maybe it doesnt cause i cant figure where the hoses would go... Can someone have a look under their neo manifold ?

unless someone took the stock cams out for hektic idle

Barra Motor In A R33 Skyline
AngryRB replied to project 33 barra's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Pretty sure i saw a barra engine in an R33 at Qld Raceway, was no problem with its bonnet closing, Good Luck , should be epic -
Just follow the RB30 build guide, i did and had new holes drilled in the stock R33 mounts and bonnet closes fine with stock intake mani and heaps of room under the sump too.. too easy

Will be interesting to compare our graphs later on, how much boost you planning to run or do you wanna max out the SS?

Angryrb's R33 Street Sweeper

Can confirm the bonnet closes without issue so the RB30build thread was 100% correct about lowering the motor and thanks to other knowledgable guys suggesting slotting the mounts Progress come to holt while i gather funds for fabrication, planning a 4inch dump, plumbed back gate off housing, shortened intercooler pipe off throttle, 4inch intake pipe and tossing up on changes to the exhaust. Its currently 3 1/2inch with jap resonator which my money is on being a restriction , 100cell cat and an X-force 3 1/2inch muffler... couple of idea's are - cut resonator out and keep rest the same - cut resonator out and put the X force muffler in middle and a jap cannon with restrictor chopped out I know the muffler on the end sounds more civilised but i want this thing to sound meaty so tempting to take option 2 , hmmm I put car on ground today and made some lowering adjustment to try and get better stance, it had a 4wd look, any recommendations or input on people's R33 heights would be interesting to compare to get it sitting good but looks ok.. . I like having the 265's all around give's it a more pumped up look... cant wait to get this thing started... -
how will you determine 4degrees on the intake cam? Do you think the stock cams will do much being adjusted, im thinking the RB30 would love more beefy cams as you have higher comp and a bigger pump..

R377 M-Spec R33 Gts-T Build
AngryRB replied to R377's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Car looks tough with them wheels and stance I'd never go to Pedders or any of them Franchise places, it can be hard to find a good place to get knowledgeable professionals to work on your car. Took me a couple of years to find a good Tuner after going thru the big name rip off's, glad it finally worked out for you.. -
Ryno's R32... Over A Decade And Counting

Just read your thread, great choice in mods and looks awesome.. how does a new R33 box feel, is the cost worth it over reconditioning an old one you think? -
Jacob's R33 Gtst S2
AngryRB replied to kingtube69's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Was 20 psi at 3800, I'll try and dig up the old graph, bit of a light switch at 4k, had jap teins at that time so third was loose -

External gate on housing and E85 or meth injection and would be a totally different beast, probably smash 350kw's, i was on 280kw 98 then 320 with lots of room to spare... even with restrictive jap middle muffler... -

looks mint, sits nicely, where do you get the window trim/shields from? Can you adjust the camber to get extra tyre contact or will the tyres rub the wheel arch?
