  1. do you have the complete sunroof and all its bits? also the cover for underneath the engine bay? text Mark 0466 257 118
  2. definitely E85 and with the cams etc from the gtx setup, it will be another feather in your cap lol.. ,
  3. he made 340kw on E85 and 220kw in by 4000rpm so it must of been on song quite early.. will port the crap out of the manifold and housing if need be, anyway... see what happens , will give it a solid crack.
  4. The stock manifold has been ceramic coated and the turbine housing will cop the same if it makes a difference
  5. Don't forget if you've got a set of cams in there it could give you a low result too, id check the timing isn't out too.
  6. For GTS-T Its silver in colour and in VGC, silver in colour, not faded, has great paintwork $70 , located south Brisbane call Mark 0466 257 118
  7. ive decided to try a divided 0.82 with gate hanging off housing of a gt3037 56trim, Im hoping this isn't a bad idea, but it seems to make sense and will hopefully give the response of a 0.63 or maybe better and still get 300kw. Could adding a twin scroll to a GTX3071 bridge the gap between the GTX3067?
  8. Do you guys think a ts rear housing is of any use on the GT30's, matched to a stock manifold ? and what size for responsive 300kw?
  9. i dont see any 0.63 option for divided it seems to be just for 0.82
  10. I was browsing the atpturbo website and theres a divided 0.78 option for the rear housing, would this be a good thing?
  11. its only running 19psi in the mid , theres hardly any change to the boost at the redline, hence you get the same rwkw? Maybe get an ebc and set it up for 19psi at redline , and add the 3inch steel intake pipe, although im not sure that turbo is happy with much more than a bar is it?
  12. I think it looks repairable, im attempting this kind of fix on a falcon at the moment, if you can find another with an intact front end and your handy you could strip off the broken stuff and simply transfer, could take along time though. Is the main rails and foundations straight still?
  13. there doesnt look like theres much increase in boost, looks like 16psi in both at redline
  14. its because of the extra duration and lift of the cam, it makes them less efficient at low speed, same as with massive cam's on a drag car, they find it hard just to idle .
  15. Its just going to reuse the stock manifold, the topmounts are too obvious to authorities, ill reuse my 44mm tial. Im not sure if i should bother trying to port polish the manifold/housing... Will post back when its running again.
  16. ill be bolting on a 0.63 external version of the GT3037, 56trim, to go with the poncams and E85, will be interesting to see how responsive it is and how much top end , hoping for massive area under the curves on 20psi
  17. yeah i checked both faces and they were perfect, were talking about the 2manifold halfs here not the manifold to cylinder head gasket , but perhaps i should take that one off and check too, the gasket between the two halfs is a soft rubber gasket and theres nothing but the clamping pressure to keep it in place, i guess they didnt plan for it to handle 400hp when they designed that part. might end up just welding the too halfs together if possible.
  18. i did originally but it looked like the gasket goo was allowing the gasket to squeeze out of place while i was tightening it up, so i degreased it and dried it
  19. Someone buy this and wind up the boost, $1100 last drop before i keep it for my falcon
  20. sorry didnt make that clear, the gt2876 would have the port shrouded cover and external gate i mean, to help with surge and the small rear. oh and add E85
  21. How would a GTX3067 compare to a GT2876 ( 48trim , 0.86rear) if you added an anti-surge cover and maybe an external wastegate? Wasnt the GT2876 designed for conditions such as race cars operate in, restricted intake or are they still a terrible idea?
  22. bump, Brand new condition
  23. Ive developed another intake manifold leak, the first time was with the stock gasket but this time its after replacing it with a new one. This is really frustrating because with my setup with a topfeed fuel rail there is almost no room to even take the bolts off is rediculiously time consuming. Does anyone have any tips/advice on fixing this reoccuring issue, the new gasket was degreased and the surfaces were all clean and bolted down tight, so should i use some special bonding material to make it a tighter seal or should i/could i weld the two halves together permanently?
