  1. have you tried a new fuel filter? what do the plugs look like? check engine light could be on cause its not getting enough fuel?

I have a 3 1/2inch fujitsubo muffler, its a cannon style with the 2 1/2 inch restrictor inside, JASMA rated its very similar if not identical to a HKS Hi power silent muffler, its quiet on idle but WOT and it growls. has a scrape on underside but still very usable and not really seen from outside. $80plus postage 0466257118 for pics, located brisbane
  4. It wouldnt cost much to drain all the fuel out and replace the fuel filter, check the engine timing, arnt there some good tuners in sydney? id put it on a trailer and drive to whoever is the best.

  6. It sounds like the wheel bearing is gone, if you keep driving it like that the wheel may eventually fly off, Had the same issue with a boat trailer, it didnt end well.

  8. cant you just shop the gate pipe off and have it welded up? cant be that big of a job, get this thing into third on 20psi and you'll be glad you bought it.
  9. get a can of wd or crc and put the straw tip on, then try spraying round the intake manifold gaskets and bov while its running if it starts reacting then its confirmed, and check the clamps are tight
  10. you sure you havnt got a vacumn leak? Ive found with mine that raising the boost is blowing out the intake manifold gasket, when that happens its either too lean or too rich, runs rough
  11. my noise was more of a hissing, but the noise you have is what i had when the top cover was on, could that top cover be getting rubbed by the belt i wonder? id really like to get to the bottem of that noise

I agree with the first point of highway cruiser although its not really being a hoon, it should be ok to accelerate and enjoy the vehicle and all its character without being labeled a hoon, you will often see the police drive in this fashion, they dont cruise around on low revs, they drive like the car was intended and even speed, its just common sense really, but minus big burnouts.

Selling my GTX3076 with 0.83 external 4bolt rear, it has the pipe welded in off the dump for a gate to be mounted, and is ceramic coated would have about 7000km's on it, street driven only so doesnt see alot of boost, so its AS NEW condition has made 320kw on 16psi Its just a little too much turbo for my liking, more suited to upto and over 350kw Cost me $2000 + $150 for external gate pipe + $100 for Ceramic coating , so $2250 so i think $1450 is reasonable..

I just did this whole process on the weekend twice but that was on an r33, so to add to the above, theres two bolts for each, you want to loosen both of them, so both bolts turn anticlockwise, its the long threaded bolts that help to do the final tensioning by tightening them. the A/C BOLT is under the bottem pully wheel, so have to get under car to see it. when reasembling it, make sure the timing belt cover is on properly and firmly or else it will rub on the harmonic balancer and sound terrible.
  19. i think my point was that the compressor at 16psi has atleast another 10psi left which is probably up close to 400kw? obviously with a different manifold, with a manual and good manifold it has a shitload left in it
  20. well mines a manual and with only 16psi making 320kw, so the auto must really sap the power, 8psi extra for 30kw gain, mine was consistently gaining 10-12kw every 1psi, stock manifold too.
