  1. i recently replaced the tie rod ends myself, got them from kudos, i made the mistake of just counting the turns and bolted it all together, went for a drive and it was very wierd in the steering, so i checked and the new tie rod ends are a bit longer, and the wheels werent pointing straight at all , so ive adjusted it so the wheels are pointing straight and its driving straight but i know what you mean, it feels a bit odd now so i guess ill need someone to set the toe in and check it is right. what state are you in? says on that add there for a gt34

  4. what off set and width do you have? im wondering if ill manage to sqeeze 265/35/18's on a 18*9.5 with 30offset on the rear without looking like a 4wd or rubbing when it squats down a bit under WOT. Will be very close i think.
  5. Had my organic NPC fitted yesterday, is alot better than the exedy, the gears seems easier to go in too so maybe the old one was dragging or not bled properly, and feels like it pulls harder and very smooth engagement So NPC and my tuner , FTW
  6. i set mine to 6000rpm to give a safetly buffer..
  7. a tune on eflex and a good boost controller could make it bearable and reduce it down possibly 500rpm, did on mine
  8. been using mobil 1 oil for last 4000km's, still gold honey colour , i doubt my oil gets that hot either so must be good stuff..
  9. i went a 3 1/2inch for 320kw, so 600kw's id definitely go a 4inch dump atleast

  11. The SS is cheaper than RSR, how do these compare with a kuhmo or an toyo r1r? cause theres a big prices difference between the federals and these. only considerations for me are dry grip, quiet, and price
  12. im not sure that warped rotors are that uncommon, i always seem to get them in my cars, stock brakes are a bit shit, the op has a rb20e doesnt he? so maybe he has some rb20 sized brakes, he could get the rotors machined on the car quite cheaply.. id think twice before spending money on that car mate, like others have mentioned, it is far easier to sell yours and buy the real thing than replace all the parts of the car

  14. is it fair to say that the softer the tyres or the lower the wear rating , the better the grip of a tyre ( obviously interested in dry conditions here) so should that be the criteria if you want to lay some serious power down without wheel spin? the rsr is looking very good value
  15. shes going great mate, i guess its just as far as boost control and a bit of extra lag is all compared to an external, but thats some respectful power output
  16. split dump on internal gated turbo = cheap man's mod = fail if your going to split it then go external gate, gt30 will perform so much better..
  17. lol..im getting 350 on each tank with a mix of highway and wot at 1.2bar Eflex what temp does a nismo thermostat open at? does it get up to correct temperature?
  18. I puchased the NPC organic today, it has been stamped on it Exedy UFO52 What would be the difference between the exedy sports tuff clutch rated 280kw and the NPC organic (330kwrated), the material must be the same if it has exedy stamped on it.
  19. maybe try a tein suspension dealer, i know in brissy , fulcrum suspension can rebuild them and also source springs if that helps
  20. can just imagine a clueless bogan thats managed to strap a to4 turbo on and got over 500hp, a fag in the corner of his mouth and next thing a flywheel comes thru the floor haha.. but seriously, that is some scary shit..

  22. hmm, im in the minority then cause i fell in love with the RB30ET in the VL turbo , then discovered the RB25det.. in my opinion.. one of the best motors ever..that is the whole RB family.. and the supra 3Ltwin turbo motor is also up there, probably better..
  23. well 90% im very kind to the clutch and drive off boost, other 10% is a drag or a 2nd, 3rd gear hard pull to get past some slow traffic
  24. thanks fella's, great to have such a great wealth of knowledge at hand, will let you know how NPC organic goes, although its probably know fact round here the ultimate test will be some 1/4mile attempts at willowbank with some 2nd gear burnouts and 4000rpm launches at willowbank, would like to see some high 12's hopefully with practice..
  25. if the turbo was leaking on the intake side would there not be oil on the piping? and if on exhaust would the turbine wheel not have fouling starting to build up and be evident with taking the dump off and have a look? i would of thought by the sound the valve guides were leaking with the vacumn drawing oil into the cylinders, although ive rarely seen a nissan engine actually smoke due to engine, usually only mitstushiti magshta shit.. lol true story..
