  1. ^^^ haha.. maybe this new exhaust system doesnt flow as good as the last and its causing restriction which =knock with the same timing etc..
  2. so is having the 0.8mm gap no good with the ethanol use..? 2.5mm sounds like a huge gap.. should i change my gap to say 1.1mm or will that effect the tune.?
  3. that cat looks nice, you gonna polish it when you do ya oil changes lol you sure made alot of power with a 3inch system ..
  4. what does full exhaust mean? those symptoms are bit like the exhaust is blocked, like a cat or a restrictor.. I think the 9psi to get 190kw is probably right, with 15psi i was getting 260kw so you should be around that.. what housing is it?
  5. ive had 2 walbro's now, the 255Lph handled 260kw so that would be fine.. quite cheap too. I didnt want to take chances with the fitment, tuner fit mine in well under an hour so worth it to get done right first time.
  6. some hiflow's wont even make 250kw, my old one made 220kw.. If it were me id send turbo to hypergear for a inspection, even improve on whatever it is.. then you know what you've got before wasting money on tunes.. Then FMIC and injectors cleaned or replace. I thought GTR injectors were topfeed.. thats odd.

  8. interesting , my car does have the bucking symptoms your talking about, around 1500rpm somtimes it will get quite jerky,its when im very light on the throttle trying to keep it in say 4th gear, i spoke to the tuner and on two occasions he played around with the maps while on the dyno, he was of the view that the poncams could be doing it, but also the TPS setting which was adjusted and the jerking is still there.. so would be interested to know eactly how you fix it .

  11. its a 60L tank yes? so when the light comes on you've got say 10-15L still in there, i know for a fact i drove my car to the tuner with the light on and got there with it under the empty line , syphoned all the fuel out ( was doing Eflex) and i got 10L out of it so if we said there was 10-15L left when you have done 450km then its actually very good economy and around the 10-12L/100km 450km =
  12. If the economy is that bad, you may as well switch to the E-flex and retune with a better tuner... I was getting 450km average on 98 now getting 300-350km out of E-Flex when the light comes on i have about 10-15Litres still in there, have measured 10Litres when its below the empty line..
  13. the voltage im seeing is on the power fc, so it must be the alternator then? i remember when i was doing the poncams, i damaged the outside of the alternator trying to leverage it so maybe thats done something to it, i thought there would be a regulator that would control the voltage so it wouldnt go higher than the correct voltage..
  14. thats the sort of thing that was happening when i had a intake manifold leak, was fine til it was at operating temp, got worse every day the leak makes it run lean and thats what makes it rough and stall, but the opposite happened on full throttle, id get some big black clouds out the back, fill up half the street ..also seeing boost but not feeling the power for a few seconds cause it was blowing out the manifold... any of that happening?
  15. what would cause the voltage to be high, my battery lights on all the time and the voltage is floats between 14.7 and 15.4..
  16. when putting the exhaust studs in, you lock two nuts together , you know that right..?

  19. so will a R33 GTR bumper fit a R33 gtst, i thought the GTR had different bonnet,guards and headlights...
  20. sorry didnt mean to criticise, i like choyda's GTR from first page, that front spoiler is awesome and the rear looks good, sits nice too first time ive actually looked closely at the 34's, they are pretty aggressive looking, nice rear bar on the yellow one too. ok thats my 2cents..
  21. the more i look at that GTR spoiler the more im not sure, it just looks a bit high and like it doesnt belong, maybe it needs to grow on me. im sure ive seen better aftermarket ones that arnt so fat and high up on some GTR video's,
  22. i agree, you dont want to get too much attention, only draws problems from police and thiefs etc.. thats why i prefer the GTR spoilers and parts cause i think they retain a subtle factory look still,( so to speak) also alot of bodykits become a pain with scraping and cracking which brings down the quality of the package.. it looks good.
  23. has turnt into a great all round package, any future plans with bodykit? maybe a GTRish front spoiler?
