    Is there any chance the vapour and fuel return hoses have been switched by mistake. I had this happen on a previous car ( wasn't a skyline) and it would frequently end up in fuel pooling in the manifold and cutting out.

    Just weld support brackets in, the chamber is 3inch and exhaust is 3 1/2 inch turbo to tailpipe.

    It's pretty amateur but it works, I'm gonna clean it up alot more and paint black.. just wanted to see if it worked first..

    I added a helmholtz chamber to my HKS system and it super quiet now so you can keep a loud ass cannon still, expensive big mufflers not needed.?

    Had a big win today, the exhaust although sounded great under boost was droning and too loud in traffic so I made a holmz heltz resonator chamber. It's maybe working too good as its super quiet now, who would of thought a big cannon could be quiet and cost me nothing ?... my welding is super amateur but it works ... When I get time I'll make a series of different lengths and fine tune it..

    If you buy a neo head and intake you'll save money on the reg and fuel rail plus all the other benefits like solid lifters. My fuel system is maxed with 1000's and walbro 416, change the 044 pump for a bigger.

    RB3025 Neo -260deg 9.15 poncams - GT3076 0.82rear with 44mm tial, 3 1/2 inch exhaust, 100 cell cat, Sinco topmount - walbro 416l/ph , 1000cc x spurts - p fc, AVC-R , E85 - Injectors at 85%, pump almost maxed plus other parts at limit, maybe a play with cam gears later but it pulls hard already.

    Finally hit the dyno, the 1000cc x spurts at 85% and walbro pump at its limits also so stopping here. Didn't get chance to play with cam positions and was expecting boost on earlier but it's got plenty of grunt on the street frying the 275's in second.

    Yeah I'm getting excited about seeing what it does on the dyno. Hopefully can get a fat 350kw.. I've asked for the cam gears to be played with so hope we find a sweet spot ?

    Plazmaman have intercooler pipe kits, one is same as the "Mick Pipe". Any fabricator can make it, I made my own taping the bends together and had the fabricator weld it, much cheaper...

    Hitting dyno on the 26th May, getting Mod plate on Friday. Decided to change oils and lube her up.. also installed the BOV..

    Has anyone experimented with using a helmholtz resonance chamber? I read a pipe somewhere between 38-40inch will help cancel drone.

    Been trying to tuck the exhaust up higher, it was 2inch off ground , has to be 100mm at lowest point. Shes now 75mm front and bout 90mm at middle muffler. Cant physically go higher cause theres 10mm between middle muffler and the body.. will have to keep raising the coilovers ?. Im expecting popo pulling me over so want it legal height and mod plated before driving again, i know a guy who can do it so thats next thing..

    Is it possible the blow off valve in that position could cause the issue?

    I'll have a stab at this, its because the engine is outflowing the turbine and plus when there's no mufflers,cats etc the exhaust is sucking the flap open , like a venturi effect once things get hecktic in the mid to top end. Bit with a boost controller and loading up the gate it helps close it for longer..

    Well when I had it done it was laggy, maybe too far along the scroll created too much turbulence I'm not sure. But its certainly possible as the actual fabrication of the gate pipe with split right up to the gate was great work from my fabricator. Pics in my old build thread.

    Yes can be done, don't put the gate pipe too far along the scroll though,

    Washed and few laps round the block, orgasmic sounds at 3500rpm, must be where the cams start working..

    Next time at tuner will install line locker and do burnouts in shed ??
